Through this active imagination exercise,
We facilitate this dialogue,
Illuminating unconscious barriers that might be deterring us from aligning with our authentic selves.
Before we begin,
Bring to mind a life aspect where you feel there is conflict or that's not fulfilling its potential.
This could be related to your career or income,
Relationships,
Your purpose,
Your health,
Or any other significant area.
In addition,
Envision the outcome you desire in this particular area.
And once you've got that,
Just closing your eyes and taking a couple of deep breaths.
Just allowing the mind and the body to relax naturally.
Keep your attention on the breath for now.
If at any point you do get distracted,
Simply bring the attention back to the exercise.
And now,
Imagine you're walking along a path driven by your motivation to reach the vision that you've set.
While the path ahead is unclear,
You're compelled to move forward step by step.
Eventually,
You find your progress halted by a massive wall.
This wall represents the unconscious barrier that is preventing you from moving forward.
Preventing you from realizing your authentic self.
Observe the wall's details,
Its height and thickness,
The material it's made of.
Notice if there are any dates on the wall,
Signifying when this blockade was established.
Are there any words or images on the wall?
Next,
You discover a peephole in the wall.
Through it,
You see your authentic self,
Experiencing the outcomes you envision.
Yet,
You feel separated from this version of you due to the presence of this wall.
Ask yourself how you might dismantle this wall.
Imagine,
Perhaps,
The method you might use or any tools you can use.
Take a moment to overcome this wall.
If you can't remove the entire wall,
Create just enough space for you to step through.
And now,
Imagine yourself moving beyond the wall.
Merging with your authentic self on the other side.
Harness any previously restrictive energy and transform it into motivation,
Moving you forward into achieving this outcome.
Acknowledge that you've seen what needed to be seen today.
What needed to be seen today.
And you may wish to journal your experience after the exercise.
But for now,
Just bringing your attention back to the room.
Noticing any sounds or sensations.
Taking a deep breath.
And in your own time,
Opening your eyes again.
