But creating enough space for what hurts to be held safely.
So imagine now that your breath is gently surrounding your heart,
Like a soft warmth around whatever you are feeling.
Nothing is being removed,
Only held.
And you may notice that even the intensity of emotion begins to soften slightly when it is no longer resisted.
Not because it is gone,
But because it is being allowed.
Stay here for a few breaths.

Notice the sensation and connection to your heart.
Your heart is still here,
Not fixed,
Not forced into healing,
But softer,
More open perhaps than before.
