Hello and happy spring equinox.

Spring officially begins on the equinox of the year.

It represents the beginning of a new phase of our lives,

The beginning of a new astrological year,

And the beginning of our journey.

It's a time where we can commune and connect with nature and the universe before stepping into a new season ahead.

In the equinox,

Day and night are balanced,

Light and darkness are in balance,

Reminding us to maintain the balance within as well.

During this equinox,

We are expressing gratitude for all that is happening in nature outside of us,

As well as what is happening within us.

So start to get comfortable and settled,

Getting prepared for this meditation by propping your sit bones up on a cushion or sitting in a chair with your feet grounded and your hands on your knees.

Or maybe you want to lay down,

Putting one hand on your heart and the other on your stomach.

And just start to follow your breath,

Beginning to take a big deep breath,

Inhaling all the way up through your nose,

Letting everything rise and fill up to the top of your chest.

And exhale,

Letting everything contract back in.

Inhale and exhale,

Just sinking yourself further and further into the earth as we begin to go on a journey.

Winter has finally become spring.

The seasons have changed and the seeds of potential have been sown.

Let's take a moment to give thanks to winter for all the darkness we've experienced,

To the cooler months,

To the chill and the air,

And most importantly to the work that's been going on deep within as we prepare to welcome spring.

So start to turn into your mind's eye,

Starting to imagine your life as a blossoming flower.

Picture the bud hasn't opened quite yet and just start to visualize every detail of your flower.

What type of flower are you?

Are you a sunflower,

A rose,

An orchid,

Or a daisy?

Get every color and detail.

How does your life form your flower?

What enrichments does your life need to grow and blossom?

And once you have a clear image,

Work your way down to the soil.

Start with pulling up your emotional weeds.

Examine yourself and remove any negative thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back.

And visualize these weeds now starting to dissolve all around your flower.

And now work on the foundation that you have.

Taking a moment to consider what growth have I experienced from this past winter?

How did these experiences lay the foundation for my growth?

Start to think what can you do right now to turn these experiences into the life force that will nourish your flower's roots.

Start to begin taking long steady deep breaths in and out.

With each breath feel that energy grow,

Blossom,

And strengthen.

There's so much potential behind your flower.

What brings you joy to think of your flower blooming?

Embrace the possibility of what is to come.

Breathe deep into your heart as you do this.

Breathe out any doubts you may have.

And take some time to watch your flower grow.

Imagining your future self completely planted and rooted.

What will that look like this spring?

What are you looking forward to?

Spend some time watching your flower bloom.

Watching this new season play out like a movie on a screen.

And as each moment begins to excite you,

Watch your petals grow one by one.

It will give you some time to fully envision this.

Getting every detail and watching every part of your petals grow.

And I'll be back to guide you.

Good.

Self-growth is a lifelong journey.

So learn from the greatest teachers in nature and adopt these plant-inspired mindsets when it comes to growth and watching yourself flower.

Take a big deep breath in.

Hold it and exhale.

Let it all go.

When you're ready,

In your own time,

Coming back and doing the same thing.

Coming back into your physical body.

Feeling the weight of your body on your seat.

Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes.

And just blinking your eyes open.

Taking a moment to notice how you feel.

Maybe even journaling on what you experienced.

Thank you so much for joining me in this spring equinox meditation.

Happy spring equinox.

And just like a flower,

You will bloom.

Namaste.
