Hi love.

Before we begin I just want to share what inspired this meditation.

I sat in the sun one day and felt this warmth on a cool winter's day just fill my whole body like love,

Like calm,

Like a reminder that I am safe and I'm here.

So this is a meditation for presence,

For receiving,

For letting the Sun bring you back to yourself.

Let's begin.

If it's available to you I invite you to step outside.

This meditation is best done in the morning or early afternoon but any time the Sun is present will do.

And if you can't go outside find a window and sit nearby.

If that is also not available to you use your vivid beautiful imagination.

Allow yourself to feel the warmth of the Sun on your skin.

Notice where it touches you first.

Your face or your shoulders or your hands.

Let yourself warm.

Let yourself soften and feel the gentle heat building naturally without effort.

Take a slow deep breath in and as you exhale arrive fully in this moment.

Feel the earth beneath you supporting your weight,

Steady,

Present,

Holding you up.

Notice the sounds around you.

Maybe birds,

Maybe cars passing by or simply the quiet hum of life moving nearby.

And bring your awareness to your sense of smell.

Is there anything in the air?

Fresh air,

Warm earth,

Something familiar.

And if you haven't already begin to close down the eyes and tune into your body.

Notice your space.

Notice yourself here.

Behind your closed eyes allow an image to form.

Let the light of the Sun create color,

Warmth and brightness within you.

This is your day.

This is the only day that exists right now.

The past has already passed and the future is not here yet.

All that's real is this moment.

So ask yourself gently,

How can I be present today?

What do I want to experience today?

What is one way I can show up for myself?

Allow the Sun to guide your vision.

See yourself moving through this day grounded and clear and open.

See your highest version of yourself.

Not perfect,

Just present.

Now imagine the light of the Sun entering the crown of your head and slowly traveling down through your face,

Your chest,

Washing over your belly,

Your hips,

All the way down to your feet.

Your entire body filled with warm steady light.

And let that light expand beyond your body,

Into the space around you,

Your street.

And if it feels right,

Send some of that light outward to your neighbors,

To people you pass each day,

And even if there's someone that comes to mind that feels difficult or distant,

See if you can offer them a small amount of light too.

And let the light continue to expand your city,

Your state,

And feel your awareness stretch wide enough to hold.

And in the center of it all,

Imagine connecting with the Sun itself.

A massive sphere of glowing fire,

The same Sun that warms your skin,

That feeds the trees,

That wakes the oceans,

That makes life possible.

Take a breath,

And offer a quiet thank you.

Thank you for warming my bones.

Thank you for helping me begin again.

Thank you for reminding me that light always returns.

Take one more big deep breath in,

And a slow full exhale.

And know that the Sun will remain with you throughout your day.

Anytime you need to return,

Anytime you need to ground,

You can reconnect to the warmth and the light.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Returning back to life,

And carry this presence with you into the day ahead.
