Sense the presence of a great tree behind your back.
Lean your back against the bark of this ancient gentle tree.
Feel the wise,
Loving presence guiding and protecting you.
Get a sense of the immense height of this tree.
See the branches and leaves above you,
Protecting you.
Listen to the quiet wisdom of the tree.
Feel the roots of the tree growing deep into the earth.
Follow them down,
Down,
Down,
Down all the way to the core of the earth.
Feel the power and wisdom of Mother Earth flow up through the roots,
Up the trunk,
And all the way up to the top leaves and branches of this ancient and beautiful tree.
Let the energy expand out through the leaves and arc gracefully back down to the earth.
Feel the cycle of energy completed around you.
Feel the dual connection of the earth and sky.
Notice the flow of energy in your body.
Notice how the flow of energy in the tree and the flow of energy in your body are the same.
Tune into the harmony that lives within nature.
Let the energy flow gently up from the earth,
Up your spine,
Out the top of your head,
Up to the sky,
And flow gently back down to the earth,
Completing the cycle.
Breathe easily and gently.
Let the energy flow.
Let it move smoothly and easily,
Guided by the loving awareness that is present here.
