Hello,
Welcome to this sleep meditation.
In this meditation you will be releasing all of your worries and stress and relaxing into a deep sleep.
To begin,
Make sure that you are comfortable,
Laying down in bed,
Ready to fully relax and enjoy this peaceful sleep.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.
In and out.
Notice your stress beginning to leave your body as you breathe in relaxation and breathe out any stress.
Breathe in relaxation and breathe out stress.
This is time for you to feel fully calm in a peaceful place.
Allow yourself to let go of any stress that you have within you.
Any stress from your day,
Any worries that you are holding onto,
Release them all as you breathe in and out.
Feeling in the future is how we hold onto stress and worry.
When we live focusing on what tomorrow may bring,
We ruin the present moment.
We ruin the enjoyment of uninterrupted sleep.
The sleep that we need to make sure that we are ready for tomorrow.
Right now you are in the present moment.
You are here right now in bed.
So this time is for you to be calm.
This is time for you to enjoy your relaxation and fall asleep feeling happy and peaceful.
Listen to my voice and allow any of your thoughts to drift away.
Any thoughts of tomorrow,
Just sweep them aside.
For now is not the time to think about the future.
Now is the time to rest here in the present.
Any worries or stress is not important right now.
There is nothing for you to do right now but to allow your body to relax fully and fall asleep.
With this calm feeling flowing through your body,
Notice how it feels as it flows through your toes,
Through your feet,
Your legs.
All feeling heavy and relaxed as it flows through your hips,
Your back and stomach.
All feeling calm through your arms and hands.
Feeling so heavy.
Your chest and your neck feeling relaxed.
To your head feeling comfortable and peaceful as you breathe in relaxation and breathe out any worries you have.
Breathe in calmness and breathe out negativity.
Right now you are relaxed in bed,
Ready to fall into a cozy deep sleep.
Your body is heavy.
Your body is calm all the way from your head down to your toes.
Your body is fully calm.
With every breath you take you are becoming more and more relaxed.
Slowly your stress and worries are leaving your body.
With every exhale they are floating away.
Allowing you to be here in this moment.
Allowing your mind to let go.
Breathing any thoughts and just listening as the soothing sounds of the rain softly enters your mind.
Just listening to the gentle tapping of the rain whilst you relax in this moment and fall into this comfortable,
Calm sleep.
Your body is calm.
Your body is calm.
Right now you are relaxed in bed.
