Ashley Lord

Ashley Lord is a poet, voice artist, and bestselling author of In the Heart of the Light: Poetry of Awakening. Raised in Port Credit, a waterfront village near Toronto, she began practicing yoga and meditation as a teenager, drawn to the mysteries of the healing arts. After completing a degree in an unrelated field, her curiosity led her into a life of adventure. For fifteen years she wrote, traveled, and worked internationally in hospitality while also teaching yoga and meditation. Along the way she became a certified sound healer, energy practitioner, life & health coach, weaving these practices into her art. Her path has not been without shadow. She has walked through addiction, anxiety, and the challenges of being a highly sensitive soul. These struggles became part of her medicine, shaping her compassion and devotion to helping others find calm and self-love. Her brand imagery reflects this journey — from her childhood bedroom covered in rainbow wallpaper to her present-day creative expression filled with color, imagination, and wonder. Today, Ashley lives in North Vancouver, Canada, tucked into the mountains with her loves. She writes poetry, creates meditations and soundscapes, often recorded for the quiet hours — the moments when the world softens and the mind finally wants to rest.
