Sat Naam,
We are so much more than this earthly body,
Than the labels we attach to ourselves.
The moment we reconnect back to our essence,
Our expanded self,
Our infinite limitless soul,
We feel whole again,
Complete.
We are then able to walk softly on this earth,
See clearly our path,
Understand our gifts and our place in this jigsaw of life.
Kundalini Yoga is a transformational healing practice,
A yoga of awareness that softly guides you back to your essence.
It helps you remember your truth.
I'd like to share with you meditation to experience the expanded self.
Concentrate very humbly as I guide you through this meditation,
Because when there is concentration,
The glands overwork and over secrete,
And due to this stimulation of the glandular system,
It makes it a really good meditation to practice on the day of the full moon.
It will enhance your inner radiance.
So sit in a comfortable position,
Either on a chair or on the floor,
On a meditation cushion.
Wherever you are,
Just make sure that the spine is straight.
Before we begin,
Let's tune into practice by chanting three times Om Namo Gurudeva Namo,
Raising your frequency,
Setting your intention to expand your sense of self.
Rub your hands together and bring them into prayer pose.
Press the palms of the hands together,
Thumbs against the sternum,
Elbows away.
Let's take a deep inhale to prepare.
Om Gurudev Gurudev Exhale,
Release the hands down.
Bring the hands into a comfortable position.
I like to put one hand on top of the other in my lap.
Close your eyes and settle the breath.
Settle the eyes.
Relax your shoulders and relax your face.
Try to keep the chest lifted throughout the meditation,
Pulling the chin back as if you're making a double chin.
Don't let the head drop or the shoulders collapse.
Imagine you are on a mountain and you are looking down at the village,
Town or city that you live in.
Understand that what you are seeing is really inside of you.
Imagine what size your head must be and think of how much it can contain.
Now go up in the air until you can look at the entire country where you live.
Go beyond this and see the entire earth.
Understand that the entire planet is in your head.
Expand and see the solar system.
Then see the entire universe.
Become the entire universe,
But still be in the body.
Feel the vast amounts of energy flowing through the body.
Expand the little eye into a big eye.
Go beyond time and try to grab infinity.
Just expand into the vastness of yourself.
In this vastness,
See the light of purity.
It is a glittering,
Simple,
Soft light.
Now imagine that this glittering,
Soft,
Beautiful,
Pure light is in the centre of your head.
Focus on it.
That is where the pineal gland is located.
It is a most precious gem which the divine has put there.
See nothing but light.
It is blue light.
It is subtle.
It is pure.
It is in your head,
But it is as big as the cosmos.
Become pure light.
Understand the mantra,
I am,
I am.
When we just say,
I am,
You want to add something to that.
Like a name.
A condition.
A description.
But when you add the second,
I am,
It's telling you that who you are is enough.
No labels.
No names.
No conditions.
No things.
You just are.
And that is enough.
So silently repeat to yourself,
I am,
I am.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale completely.
And exhale.
Inhale softly.
And exhale the breath all the way out.
This time take a deep inhale and suspend your breath.
Hold it there and experience the nothingness.
And then let the breath move out.
Exhale.
Rub your hands together and put them again in prayer pose.
And we will tune out with three long Sat Nams.
Sat Nam,
Truth is my name.
Inhale.
Sat.
Your true self is everywhere and in everything.
Because its nature is love.
And love is everywhere.
You are nothing but love.
Radiate your true nature in all its natural beauty.
So everyone feels loved in your presence.
Gently open your eyes.
And may you step out into the world.
Into your day.
With lightness and love.
And a huge smile on your face.
Sat Nam.
In Kundalini Yoga,
We recommend meditating and doing these meditations and breath work for 40 consecutive days.
When we do this,
We reinforce all the benefits within our body and within our mind.
We change the habits that have been formed.
And we can start to transform and to heal.
So if you resonate with any of my meditations,
Please return again and try to do them for 40 consecutive days.
And let me know how you get on.
And what you experience at the end of it.
Sat Nam.
Thank you.
