This meditation was created to help you love your whole body, including the bits that you find hard to love. The thoughts we have about particular parts of our body can affect our health and overall happiness. This meditation aims to bring love and light to those places that are disliked, hated, or ignored. This meditation can be repeated to reinforce the process and bring you closer to self-love and acceptance. Music: Theta Binaural Meditation

This meditation can be done sitting up or lying down.

If you choose to sit up,

Draw up through the crown of your head,

Lengthening the spine.

Roll the shoulders back and down and feel your sit bones connecting to the earth.

Settle into your body,

Feel its physicality.

Connect to your breath.

Notice the connection between your breath and how your body moves.

Begin to become aware of the edges of your body where you end and air begins.

Can you notice all of the edges at the same time?

Now bring your attention to the inside of your body.

See if you can sense any movement,

Maybe your heartbeat or maybe blood pulsing.

Allow yourself just to be within your body without judgment.

Allow yourself to feel what that's like.

Bring your attention to the area of your heart in the center of your chest,

Your heart space.

Imagine a golden sun in this heart space.

See its light radiating out as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

See in your mind's eye your whole chest illuminated.

As we breathe in and out,

This ball of light begins to expand,

Getting bigger and bigger.

Let it expand until it surrounds your whole body in a bubble of light.

Notice how it feels inside of this bubble.

You are totally safe in this space.

And as we sit here ask yourself,

Are there parts of this physical body that I have been rejecting?

Are there parts that I have been withholding love from?

We're going to maintain this golden bubble around us and we will take our attention back into the heart space,

The center of the chest.

Here we will gather up some of this liquid light,

This love energy,

And you're going to take this glowing ball and place it in an area of the body that you have been rejecting or finding it hard to love.

Allow that light to be in that area of the body.

The light is big enough for the whole area.

Allow that light to infiltrate those cells in that place.

If it feels difficult it's okay.

Just stay and breathe.

Allow that area of the body to relax and soak up the light and the love.

We will leave that current ball of light where it is and bring our attention back to the heart space where we will gather up another ball of liquid light.

And when you are ready bring that ball of light into those cells in another area of need.

Maybe you can see that part of your body glowing.

Feel into that area and notice.

We're going to leave this light glowing in this place and take our attention once again back to the heart space.

And again gather a ball of this healing light energy and this time we're going to put that ball of light directly into our heart and just allow your heart to expand with this light.

I invite you now to speak to your energetic heart.

Maybe you want to ask your heart what do you need more of.

The response might be in words or an image or maybe you will just know.

Remember its message and send your heart thanks.

We're going to leave all three glowing balls within our body where they are so they can continue doing their work.

We're also going to leave the bubble of light that radiates out from us.

And when you are ready start bringing yourself back into the room.

Deepen your breath bring awareness back into your fingers and toes.

Feel what you have been sitting or lying on.

Maybe take a stretch and when you are ready you can open your eyes.

I invite you to write down anything that came up during the meditation including any messages from your heart.
