Relax into your seat.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
What are the motions as your body takes in air and releases air out.
Focus completely on the actions of your body for a few moments.
Drop into this space and allow yourself to be completely in the body.
The mind can take a break.
Just breathing and sinking further into your seat.
Notice the sensations of your body.
Small movements,
Small feelings.
Can you sense a rush of blood somewhere?
Can you sense nerve impulses firing?
Can you sense the life force energy that you are?
Notice this life force energy radiating out from your skin.
Moving outwards like a bubble.
You have so much light within you.
And when you allow it,
It shines out.
Our light has such an effect on those around us.
Just spend a moment seeing yourself glowing inside of this bubble of light.
Feel safe and secure within this bubble.
Now,
I invite you very gently to bring to mind something that is difficult to feel grateful for.
If it's something that is very painful,
Just keep it on the edge of your awareness.
Maybe this is a loss,
A past hurt,
A disappointment.
Whatever that thing is,
Just notice where you are holding the energy of it within your body.
Your first instinct will be the correct one.
Now,
I invite you to visualize that difficult energy as a ball of tangled up yarn.
It's chaotic.
It looks like a dark scribble.
Now,
Bring your attention to your heart space,
The area in the middle of your chest.
And we're going to generate this golden sun shining in our heart space.
Enjoy the feeling of this warm,
Glowing,
Safe and loving light.
We'll spend a moment just enjoying this feeling of this golden sunshine.
Maybe it feels like the sun shining on your face on a spring day.
You are so grateful for this sunshine,
This golden light.
Send some gratitude to this light.
Thank you light.
And now send even more gratitude into this light.
Really feel the gratitude.
If you're struggling to feel it,
Bring to mind somebody who you feel grateful for in your life and feel that gratitude.
Once you feel that gratitude,
Transfer it into the light.
And now we're going to shine this light onto that dark tangle of energy.
That light,
Full of gratitude,
Is going to shine into the core of that dark tangle.
And as it shines,
It's going to loosen those strands of energy.
It's going to bring light into those strands.
And that whole tangled ball is glowing with the golden light.
Turn up the intensity of that glow and the golden colour will turn into a very bright white.
See those strands becoming free.
See that energy becoming free.
Allow that dense energy to be turned into light.
As we shine this light infused with gratitude,
We are able to let that energy go.
Can you see that energy sailing away from you?
Just allow it to leave.
Take a long,
Deep breath into the belly.
And a long,
Slow exhale.
Bring to mind,
Very gently,
The loss or disappointment or hurt that you were working on.
How does it feel now?
Does it feel different?
Now,
Tune into the area of the body that you are working on.
How does it feel there?
Bring your attention back to your heart space and once again see the golden sun.
Fill yourself up with this energy.
Ask all of your cells to drink up this energy.
And as they do,
Notice the sensations.
Can you feel your vibration?
We will leave this sun shining in our chest.
And bring ourselves back into the room.
Deepening your breath.
Taking some small movements.
And then maybe a stretch.
Or a twist.
As you fully come back into your body.
And when you are ready,
Opening your eyes.
