Transcript

This meditation has intention to reduce anxiety and stress.

This is useful to combat anxiety or body aches,

Which helps with the mind and body congruence.

Feel free to use this meditation technique whenever you feel overwhelmed,

Worried,

Or stressed.

Make sure you are in an environment where you will be uninterrupted during this time for yourself.

Feel free to pause this meditation to set up your ritual space.

Maybe setting some aroma with candles or essential oil.

Turning down the lights.

Maybe getting a cozy blanket or setting up some background meditation music.

When you're ready,

I invite you to find a flat position on either a bed,

A yoga mat,

Couch or cushion.

Wherever you can lay completely flat.

Notice how the earth holds you,

Truly accepting its support.

Now squeeze and tense all muscles of the body for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1 and completely let go.

Completely loosen the body and relax.

Let every cell in your body be supported by the earth.

There's no falling.

You don't have to hold anything or brace yourself in any way.

We're just letting go here.

Letting every tension go.

Think of it as an exhale for the body.

And exploring what it feels like to be held by the earth.

With no responsibility,

No to-do list,

Worry or stress.

Just enjoy being held right now.

And whenever the world seems too heavy,

Maybe there's weight on your shoulders,

Tension in your hips or back,

Stiffness in your neck.

Remember that the earth is always grounding you.

You can always fall flat to the earth and surrender in being held and caressed with truly no worry.

Just laying and breathing.

That's all you're doing.

Remembering how it feels to just breathe.

To let go and be held and breathe.

When you're ready,

Very slowly roll over to the right side of your body and use your hands to push back up into a comfortable seated position.

And continue your day remembering this peace.

Remembering the earth is always holding you.

Thank you for giving yourself space today to meditate with me.
