So this is your very own personal pep talk.
Whether this is your first time or you come back here every day,
It's truly wonderful to spend some time with you.
Do you need an afternoon energy boost?
Maybe you're feeling a little sluggish.
You know that's natural so the first thing to do is let yourself off the hook.
It's okay to take a few minutes for yourself whether you're sitting at home or at your desk or you're on the bus or driving your car.
This is a few minutes just for you and you don't have to close your eyes and meditate.
Just listen.
You can turn this afternoon slump into a productive few minutes of giving back to you.
You've already got through pretty much half of the day.
That's a big deal so celebrate.
Celebrate you and your wins big,
Small or tiny.
It really doesn't matter but you do.
By taking this little bit of time for yourself you can use that momentum to power through the rest of your day or maybe just ease your way through it.
What appeals to you most?
This is your day so you can move through it how you wish but let's do it with a ton of self-love,
Self-compassion and self-acceptance.
Maybe you just need to take a short break.
Step away from your desk or whatever you're doing right now.
Have a stretch.
Go to the window or even step outside if you can and just connect with the natural world by looking up at the sky or at some trees or maybe a small pot with a sweet little plant in it.
A quick nourishing snack might also be a great idea.
We all know that a refreshed mind and body is a more positive mind and body but it's easy to forget when you're busy being busy.
As the afternoon unfolds focus on one task at a time.
Don't let your to-do list overwhelm you.
Break down any large projects into smaller manageable steps.
You've so got this so don't let your inner critic tell you otherwise.
Why not visualize how you want the rest of your afternoon to pan out.
Imagine yourself completing what you need and want to do easily and in a state of flow,
Letting go of any anxiety as you enjoy this day which is all yours.
Whatever you're doing,
Whether caring for your family,
Spending time in an office or running your business,
Maybe you're going through some health challenges,
You are here for a reason.
You matter.
You are important because you exist.
In this moment connect with your sacral and solar plexus chakras or energy centers.
The energy centers in the body align with specific physical,
Emotional and spiritual aspects of our beings.
The sacral chakra located below the navel and above the pubic bone is connected to our creativity,
Pleasure,
Sexuality and our emotions.
The solar plexus situated above the navel and below the sternum is linked to self-confidence,
Our personal power and digestion.
You don't need to close your eyes,
Just focus on these areas to connect with your sacral and solar plexus energy centers.
You can imagine the sacral chakra as a vibrant orange glow and the solar plexus as a golden yellow light.
Just feel that energy,
Whatever you're doing right now.
Allow yourself to feel the energy flowing through these energy centers.
Notice any sensations or emotions that arise.
Repeat these affirmations after me.
For the sacral chakra,
I embrace my unique talents and passions.
And for the solar plexus,
I am confident and empowered.
These are both perfect affirmations to use for the rest of your afternoon.

And if you're still in need of a quick pick-me-up after listening to me,
Why not put on some upbeat music and,
If you can,
Dance around your space for a couple of minutes.
Music can quickly change your mood,
Giving you almost instant vitality.
A few minutes of moving your body can do wonders for your energy levels.
What would you like to do if dancing isn't your thing?
And maybe that's just not possible right now,
So just take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
These few minutes can help calm your mind,
Your heart rate,
Your nervous system,
And reduce stress.
Whatever you do for the rest of your day,
Or don't do for the rest of the day,
