Hi there and welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.

Snuggle in to your bed,

Pull up your duvet and nestle your head into your pillow.

Pull your soft toy close into your arms and even give it a little kiss.

Out above your head,

Over the roof are dancing stars and twinkling,

Twinkling away at you.

Take a deep breath in,

Blow out,

Breathe in the stars and send them out through your breath like shooting stars.

Sleep,

Sleep to rest from a busy day,

Playing with friends,

Learning new things,

New sights,

New smells.

What a busy day for a busy mind.

Now it's time to settle.

Let the day settle like stardust.

Take a deep breath in of your stars and shoot out your shooting stars with one big breath.

Breathe in and out.

Close your eyes and use your mind's eye to see your special star in the sky.

It dazzles,

It sparkles,

It shoots across the inky black sky.

Wiggle your little fingers and let all of your busyness trickle out of them.

Wiggle your little toes and let all your busyness from the day wiggle out from them.

Wiggle your nose,

Wiggle,

Wiggle and let the busyness of your mind wiggle out of your nose and come to a rest.

Let's breathe in again and breathe out.

Picture your star dancing in the milky way.

Maybe reach out and take some in the palm of your hand.

Is it toffee flavour?

Is it marshmallow flavour?

Is it fudge?

It's whatever you want it to be.

And take a big bite and your star moves on again.

It sits on the rings of Saturn and it goes round and round and round.

Take a deep breath in with your star and below it,

This time it shoots off to the moon and it lands softly in amongst the moon dust and rests.

Here you can see the whole universe and your beautiful planet Earth.

Maybe you can have a little star picnic here.

Moon cheese and crackers.

Yum.

And this time when you shoot off you float gently down,

Down,

Down,

Down towards Earth.

And as you float down you feel more and more sleepy.

Deep,

Deep into your dreams.

Float further and further down into your comfy bed where you fall into a deep,

Lovely sleep.

Good night my little star adventurers and sweet dreams.
