Welcome to this sleep deep hypnosis.

You can find yourself in a comfortable position having gone through your very own regular relaxing routine.

Having done the things you know to do every night to prepare yourself for an enjoyable and restorative sleep.

Isn't it comforting to notice how preparation can make so much possible?

It's said there's a time and a place for everything and now's the time for bed.

Your room safe and protected.

You can breathe here deeply.

Noticing how your body is supported by the very bed that you've made just for you.

Breathing in fresh air and then letting that air carry away with it any tension,

Anything that needs to be released.

Filling up your lungs and letting go.

All the while letting your body get comfortable and sink a little deeper into your experience.

Letting the comfortable weight of your body take the weight off your mind.

And you can let the shade of the room fade to an even deeper shade of your internal experience so that you can let go.

Letting your thoughts drift to more relaxing places.

And if they're still open,

You can go ahead and let your eyelids close now.

It would be a relaxing thing to do.

And while we have eyelids that can close to give us comfortable shade and let us enjoy an inward focus or a deep sleep,

We also have a mind's eye.

It's there to gently notice our thoughts.

As you notice how your eyes are physically closed,

You can begin to notice how your mind's eye doesn't any longer need to observe your thoughts.

And so you can also let the large gentle lid of your mind's eye begin to close now so that you can get some rest.

Letting it fully close now.

Welcoming you to an enjoyable and nurturing deep.

There are tides of the sea and their seasons inside.

For everything a season like summer or a gentle fall.

A sleep with leaves that leaves behind what should rightfully be left.

A time and a place for everything.

For your mind to let go somewhere deep now.

Deeper than thought.

Away,

Down to a place where reason doesn't matter.

Sleeping somewhere under consciousness.

Where enjoyment is the only rule and the rulers are dreams where nothing is measured.

There are times when you know how to let go.

Letting go.

You know that sleep can be effortless and that relaxing is giving in to a natural bodily rhythm to be enjoyed.

Rhythms of breathing and nourishing yourself.

You can relax knowing that things are taken care of.

And you can be right in knowing that what's left is right for another time and will be covered.

It's a blanket statement that means you can relax as if you were listening to a bedtime story.

Like the old stories that are told.

This one of a princess named Namu long,

Long ago in southern Mesopotamia where the rivers run deep and the depths are honored.

She was able to travel back and forth to the beautiful world below where great healing and brilliant insights could take place.

To get down to this great world below it is important to enter with no baggage at all.

So with each step she descends.

She leaves one thing knowing that when she returns she can retrieve her bags one by one.

At the top of the steps she leaves her bag of stones and descending down to the first step she carefully leaves her old parchment drawings.

Going down deeper to step number two she places her crystal ball taking another step down the staircase.

She leaves her written calendar.

And completely and deeply relaxed on the fourth step Namu leaves a bag with her sulfur and flint.

Taking another step down to number five she leaves her flask of water.

And down to the sixth step now she leaves a bag with leather stretched taut over wood and relieved and relaxed.

She moves down to the final seventh step and there she places her bag of golden chains so that by the time she has moved on down from the final seventh step she is completely free.

She has let go of all of her baggage and is able to fully enjoy the beautiful protected world down below.

Knowing that everything will be left right there for when it's needed step by step.

And now you can enter into a deep nurturing peaceful sleep to be enjoyed for as long as you wish.
