Hello and thank you for joining me for this guided meditation.
To start,
I invite you to simply close your eyes or shift your gaze downwards,
Softening your eyelids,
Resting your body,
Whether that be on a chair or the floor.
And as you're dropping in to being here in this moment,
I invite you to simply notice your breathing.
Just checking in with yourself,
What is it like right now to notice my breathing?
And on your next inhale,
I invite you to take a big breath in through your nose,
Letting your stomach rise.
And release.
Releasing all of that stale air,
Making room for fresh new air.
Go ahead and continue taking several breaths like that,
Breathing in through the nose,
Fully filling your lungs,
Releasing through your mouth,
Letting go of all that stale air.
And as you're taking your next few breaths,
I invite you to imagine that you're in a special place,
A place that belongs to you and only you.
Just see yourself there resting,
Comfortable,
Taking in your surroundings,
The temperature on your skin,
The sounds around you or the lack of noise.
This beautiful place that's available to you whenever you need it.
Very good.
Now,
I want you to imagine a hollow cylinder of light above your head.
Notice the color.
Just imagine this cylinder moving downwards until it's encompassing your whole body.
So your entire body is encased in this cylinder,
This beautiful layer around you,
This energetic layer that surrounds you and your energy in this essence that creates you,
Like a delicate layer of yourself.
This layer allows you to feel,
To move,
To give and receive.
Just notice how it feels to be encompassed by this beautiful cylinder.
If you were to touch it,
What would it feel like?
What do you imagine it might be made of?
Is it warm or cold?
Heavy or light?
Just noticing as you open all of the cells in your body to receiving and noticing this layer,
This protective cylinder around your whole body,
Noticing if there's anywhere in your body that's connecting maybe a little deeper or responding to this energy.
Very good.
And as you notice this beautiful connection,
I want you to just notice that if you were to step over that layer,
Something that we've all done and we continue to do when we lose consciousness,
It can affect your body in a way it means that you lose your consciousness and your energy may drop when we don't listen or take care of this protective energy that belongs to us.
You might notice this when you run on empty or when you're giving too much of yourself.
That's when you can drop out of sync.
So just notice that you can be in your layer right now and sync with your body,
Syncing consciousness to breath.
Go ahead and just do that now.
Breathing,
Dropping into the deep breaths,
Breath to the body,
Body into the mind and mind to the awareness of that energy and where it's at.
Getting back to that vision around you,
This aura,
This layer,
Feeling into that vibrant color of this layer.
Just know and rest in the assurance that this layer is over you always and by protecting it and keeping it vibrant and real and alive,
We can continue to become deeply connected to ourselves.
And just dropping deep into the breath.
And when you're ready,
Come back to the room that you're in,
Back to this moment.
Maybe start to wiggle your toes,
Taking the sounds around you,
The temperature of the room,
The light playing on the other side of your eyes.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
