Find a comfortable seated position or you may choose to lie down.
And as you get settled,
Take a moment to thank yourself.
You may choose to mentally say thank you or say it out loud,
Thanking yourself for taking this time to yourself to shift your mood and energy.
And as we listen to the playful and positive light sounds of the chimes,
Allow yourself to be transported to a lovely peaceful place,
Just like when you were a child with no worries.
Before we begin,
Just take a moment to smile.
And as you smile really wide,
It's silly,
Really give a cheesy smile and notice that when we change the physiology,
When we give ourselves a smile,
It lights up the brain.
It can change our emotions and our outlook.
Feeling free to smile at any time during this meditation,
Allowing your gentle awareness to rest on the sounds of the chimes.
Our intention is simply to be present with love and compassion,
Allowing yourself to drift away.
After the sounds of the chimes,
There'll be a few minutes of silence,
Which is very important,
So stay for the silence.
And then you'll hear my voice gently guiding you back out.

Into the room.
