Welcome.

I'm inviting you to find your most comfortable seat.

And when you're ready,

Allowing the eyes to close.

And if closing the eyes is not an option,

Allowing the eyes to rest slightly open on an object in front of you that is not moving.

And once you're ready,

Allowing your attention to move gently onto your breath,

Meeting your breath consciously,

Maybe for the first time today.

Noticing the inhale and the exhale.

And noticing your body moving with each movement of the breath.

And maybe inviting a few full breaths at your own rhythm.

Breathing in deeply and on the exhale,

Exhaling slowly all the air from your lungs.

Allowing the mind and the body to rest,

To release what is not serving at the moment.

There might be a sigh coming,

And allow whatever it wants to go out,

To go out.

And allowing your breath to come back to its natural rhythm.

Taking a moment to notice how you feel in this moment.

What is the state of your mind-heart?

What is the state of your body?

Notice what is without judgment.

And then gently bring a hand or two on your heart space.

And if you can,

Begin to breathe through your heart.

Breathing in the heart,

Breathing out the heart.

Imagining maybe that you are breathing in the palm of your hands,

Feeling the warmth,

And the heart gently opening.

Now imagine that you are surrounded by a great blue sky,

Where it feels light,

Peaceful,

Tranquil.

And in this great blue sky surrounding you,

You notice smiles.

It's like everywhere around you,

The sky is simply smiling.

Now imagine that with your next inhale,

You're breathing a smile from the great sky of all smiles.

And on the exhale,

You anchor the smile deep into your heart.

Breathing a smile,

Exhale,

Anchor it into your heart.

Maybe allow a smile to bloom onto your lips with your next inhale.

Breathing in a smile,

Breathing out the smile resting,

Anchoring deeper within.

Maybe your face is gently softening,

Maybe the smile is spreading to your eyes,

Maybe the smile is gently moving through your body in the spaces that it needed the most.

So allow this to happen.

Allow the smile to be the medicine.

Breathing in a smile,

Breathing out,

Anchoring the smile within.

Breathing in a smile,

I am alive.

Imagine this smile of your being spread inward and outward.

Imagine that the smile is meeting everything and everyone around you.

Let it be.

Allow it to be.

Breathing in a smile,

I am alive.

Let it be.

Taking your time to opening the eyes,

Maybe taking a full breath and see if you can bring this smile into the rest of your day.

See if you can meet everyone during the day,

During the evening with that same gentle smile that you are.
