Gently taking your most comfortable seat,
When you are ready,
Closing the eyes,
And we will begin by taking one,
Two full breaths at your own rhythm.
With each exhale,
Allow your body and mind to arrive more fully in the preciousness of this moment.
And then allowing your breathing to come back to its natural dense.
And taking this moment to feel your whole body and breath moving through you and supporting you in this moment.
We will now begin our practice of metta.
I will offer a few phrases and if they resonate with you,
Allow yourself to repeat them silently.
If they don't,
Please use your own words.
May I feel loved and connected.
May I find ease and peace within.
May I accept myself as I am.
May I be comfortable with life as it is.
May I be well and content.
May I feel loved and connected.
May I find peace within.
May I accept myself as I am.
May I be comfortable with life as it is.
May I feel loved and collected.
May I feel loved and collected.
May I find ease and peace within.
May I accept myself as I am.
May I be comfortable with life as it is.
May I be well and content.
May I feel loved and connected.
May I find ease and peace within.
May I accept myself as I am.
May I be comfortable with life as it is.
May I be well and content.
May I feel loved and connected.
May I find ease and peace within.
May I accept myself as I am.
May I be comfortable with life as it is.
May I be well and content.
And resting in this moment.
Now gently invite a full breath and on your exhale bring your chin to your chest.
When you feel ready blink your eyes open and with your next inhale gently bring your head back straight.
And welcome back.
