Hello and welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.
So we've all been there.
And what I mean by that is,
Is that we have great days where we can move mountains.
And then we have days where we're no people.
Right?
Days when you feel like that the mountain is so high that you can't even consider taking it on.
And we've,
We've,
I feel like that,
You know,
We've all been to both places.
The,
What I want to really kind of say today is,
How do we not necessarily stay in the place of,
Of,
You know,
The highest mountaintop,
Because I really truly believe that life is like a roller coaster.
You cannot appreciate the highs without experiencing the lows.
Right?
But how do you get out of the lows when you know you need to?
Right?
Like today,
Honestly,
I try to bring my real life into everything I do.
But the reality is,
Is that I am pretty,
I'm not like depressed.
It's not like that at all,
Because,
You know,
But it's,
It's just like my energy feels a little bit low,
Not vibration,
Not my vibration,
But my physical energy feels a little bit low.
So how do we get out of that?
How do we get to a place of,
Of getting back up?
Right?
Because what ends up happening is,
Is that we fall down and we're supposed to get back up.
Right?
And maybe nine or eight,
Nine times out of 10,
We do get back up.
But what stops us those other times from not getting back up?
Right?
What is that?
It's,
It's fear.
Plain and simple.
I believe that it's fear,
Fear of we're going to get sick like today,
Because my physical energy is a little low,
My sort of thing would be,
I'm not really feeling this,
But I'm saying that I could be feeling this of like,
Fear of Oh,
No,
I'm getting sick,
Or fear of Oh,
My gosh,
I've taken on too much fear of getting everything done.
You know,
I mean,
I could buy into all those fears,
Right?
But today,
Our meditation is going to focus on how to get out of that place and come out of that place of fear,
Fear of anything,
It doesn't have to be fear of like life.
It's like fear of anything fear of a spider.
You know,
I mean,
It could be fear of anything,
Right?
How do we get out of that place?
How do we get out?
By saying yes to the universe.
And that's what we are going to meditate on today.
We're going to say yes to the universe.
Right?
Sometimes you need that little bit of extra assurance.
Right?
Like sometimes you need to just just trudge on through and say yes to the universe.
I'm not saying yes,
Like necessarily.
I'm saying yes to everything that comes your way.
Because sometimes that happens.
Like,
You know,
Like,
And that's like a whole other train of thought,
Saying yes to like everything that happens.
Like,
Somebody asks you to go to the movies,
And you have to say yes.
It's not like becoming a yes person.
Although it's sort of like that,
In terms of what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about our self esteem.
And I'm talking about cosmically,
Spiritually,
However you want to look at it,
Saying yes to the universe,
And whatever the whatever spirits plans are for us.
How does that sound?
And seriously,
And so when I say we've all been there,
We have all been there.
You know,
The whole thing is the conversation in our heads.
Right?
The conversation in our head,
Whether we realize it or not,
Is always continuing.
It's like 60 to 80,
000 thoughts a day.
Sometimes they're great thoughts all day.
Sometimes they're not great thoughts all day.
Sometimes they're a mixture of all.
Sometimes they're 80% good thoughts,
You know.
But the beautiful thing about meditation is learning to transcend those thoughts to that different place.
And I'm not saying that that means being in a good mood all the time.
I'm not saying that that means that you have to,
You know,
Sing on the rooftops.
But when we fall down,
What can help us get back up?
And when we think we don't want to try anymore,
How can we try one more time?
How can we do that?
Saying yes to the universe.
So this is what we are meditating on.
Because if we start to get used to saying yes to the universe,
We can get up that one more time.
That will help us.
That will get our sort of confidence and self-esteem to a place where we can get back up again.
Yay!
Okay,
So let's get ourselves comfortable because we're gonna meditate.
So you know what,
And you know what I love about meditation,
Is that this actually,
Meditation actually takes those thoughts and it's like it's like that it it sears it into our soul.
Whatever you're meditating on goes into your soul,
Into who you are.
That's what the beautiful thing of mantras is,
You know.
So okay,
Let's get ourselves comfortable because here we go.
We're going to meditate.
Okay,
So get yourself comfortable however that looks for you.
Lying down,
Sitting up,
Feet flat on the floor or cross-legged,
Whatever that looks like for you.
And let's take a nice deep breath in down to the feel the breath going into your belly button,
Right?
Let's take a deep breath.
Feeling the energy going all through your body and release.
Very good.
Let's do that one more time.
Absolutely feeling every single molecule of that oxygen and getting it into every last part of our body.
So let's take a breath in.
Hold it and release.
Right there that helps us,
Right?
So as we start to consider the idea of sitting in the stillness,
Let's go to our place of gratitude.
So three things.
What are three things that make you feel so incredibly grateful?
What are three things that bring you to tears almost when you consider them?
It could be your spouse.
It could be just the idea of being calm.
It could be your family's health.
It could be the support of your friends and family.
What makes you feel thankful?
So our mantra for today is this.
Yes,
Thank you.
We are saying this to the universe.
We are saying this to spirit.
We are saying this to ourselves.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Perfect.
So keep the mantra going as we sit in the stillness.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Yes,
Thank you.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Knowing that we can always come back to yes,
Thank you.
Anytime we feel like we need that extra little something.
Let's seal this by taking a nice deep breath in and having the beautiful mantra that we've just said.
Go through our entire body.
So let's take a deep breath in.
Feeling the oxygen going through your body and release.
Beautiful.
You can open your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.
I like that.
You know,
These are all I mean,
I meditate on this and spirit gives this to me.
But today I really like that and it's and I think it might have to do with the fact that I was talking before about how I needed that extra little physical energy today.
So that's perfect.
So thank you so much for joining.
As usual,
I really appreciate all of you so much.
And there you go.
Until next time.
Yes,
Thank you.
Namaste.
Have a beautiful day.
