
Thumbing Our Nose At Fear!

Today, we create our lives without allowing fear to drive us where it wants us to go! Let's be courageous and imagine the true intention of our soul by being bold enough to design our life and manifest our dreams.

Namaste everybody.
Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.
So I've been having these major aha moments.
These like,
I swear these like last three or four days.
Aha moments,
Right?
And I wanted to share a couple of these with you because it's so important for us to embrace these aha moments,
Right?
So I did a reading over the weekend and this lady was so so sweet and the spirit that came through amazing.
I mean it was really really fun.
It was a fun reading.
We laughed a lot.
We cried.
We you know just all of it,
Right?
So she sent me an email afterwards and it was sort of like,
Oh my god Lori thank you so much.
What you know it was a thank-you email you know which I get but for some reason you know first of all I just usually don't share those,
Right?
Because I feel like it's braggy or something and I'm just not I'm not that's not who I am,
Right?
But for some reason I was like being I was hearing,
Come on you just get out there and you tell the world.
You tell the world how much this lady really liked it.
So I asked her permission obviously didn't use her name blah blah blah you know all that.
So I shared it and that is just so not me you know because I never you know in my brain I never would want to be seen and you guys are gonna laugh when you hear me say this but I would never want to be seen as somebody that's braggy you know kind of thing,
Right?
So this moment of courage came over me,
Right?
So then yesterday I'm really into 90s alternative music,
Okay?
So the song Drive by Incubus comes on and I am like I love the song,
Right?
But I never really listened to the lyrics.
I knew some of the lyrics but not you know and it came up like one of the the part of the lyrics are whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there with open arms and open eyes and I'm just like oh right it just like yeah blows my mind right so I was like Wow courage again you know so I've got this theme going on now right right so I've got this theme going on and then I'm meditating and I swear to God this is when it happens it happens like either in meditation or it just like like all of a sudden like I'll be it like target or something and it'll go like these aha moments you know and I had this memory of and just recently I watched the movie we bought a zoo which I just you know who doesn't love that movie you know kind of thing so if you haven't seen it oh my gosh it's so much fun so anyway so I'm watching this movie or um I'm for some reason I was remembering that I watched this movie a couple of weeks ago or whatever and the 20 seconds of and I don't know what the time frame is but for me I created that it was 20 seconds of insane courage so all of a sudden here's this theme again of courage no fear right so I you know so that's my intention for at least for that for right now all right my intention is to not allow fear to drive me that for me for me this is not for everybody right for me you guys maybe are probably all totally courageous and you just rock on you know but for me um the idea of being courageous just like gets in my soul right so what is the intention what is the word what is the state of being that rocks your world what is it is it being courageous is it being bold is it being compassionate is being loving is it simply I shouldn't say simply but is it being joyful what is the word what is it that tweaks you I know there's something because there's something for everybody right so that is what our intention for the day is our intention that we are creating for today is what what is it for you even just and this is how this is how real courage is for me that even just sitting here talking about it sitting here talking about being courageous like I can feel my I can feel my my energy rising I can feel my I can feel my emotions rising what is it for you so what is what is your aha moment let's pick it let's be it right I know it just it just um it's everything for me you know because if we don't have those moments of realizing our strength our intention without those moments fear comes in and a lot and we allow it to drive us and who wants that right who wants that fear allowing fear to drive you is like giving up in a sentence in a sense I mean we all have moments of fear don't get me wrong and I'm like the queen of that that's my family here right fear sometimes will take over but you know what we can't allow it to drive our life and that is what we're meditating on today so are we ready are you ready to meditate okay so let's get ourselves comfy I'm gonna try and sit cross-legged today the arthritis kicks in occasionally hmm try to be good-natured about it though right okay so let's get ourselves comfortable whatever that looks like for you whether it's sitting with your feet on the floor sitting cross-legged or lying down what does that look like for you get yourself comfortable close your eyes whenever you feel the urge so let's begin today again thinking about those just few things that we are grateful for what are you absolutely appreciative of in your life what are you grateful for in your life there's always gonna be something there's always always always who said that I think it was Wayne Dyer just always always always always something to be grateful for if you can only if you're having one of those days where you can only get one and that's great you start with one because that's where it starts but go for three what are a few things to be grateful for today and so after you have those things and you feel them in your heart then create your intention for the day what is your intention for the day it can be anything it can be anything I'm going to walk out and get the mail today it can be anything it can be I'm gonna go on a I'm gonna go on a run today it can be I'm gonna make those phone calls that I've been putting off it can simply be I'm going to be peaceful today and then as you create that intention consider who you're being in that moment my word is courageous so I will say as my mantra I am courageous what is your word you have to create it for yourself make sure that you feel it deep down in your soul I am love I am bold I am peace whatever feels right for you and that will be our launcher for today I am or you could just say I am if that feels right for you and you say I am as we get used to saying that mantra for ourselves there is no wrong here I will keep the time and let's begin I am I am I am am courageous you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you can you you Let's take a deep breath in,
Breathing in our intention and mantra for the day.
So take a deep breath in,
Breathing in intention and release it to the world.
Whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes and know that your intention for today is out there in the world.
And it's part of who you are.
So if you feel a little lost today or if you feel like if something's happening and you're just not sure,
Just go back to your intention and go back to your mantra.
I am whatever it is for you.
We've got this.
If we do this together,
We've got this.
