The Name Of The Game Is Possibility!
by Lauri Albert
With so much pressure on having to make our ‘Dreams Come True’, let’s instead look at this from a different viewpoint! Don't dream! Wait, what? Let's consider a new way of looking at and creating our lives!

Hello there.
Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.
Thank you so much for joining today.
It's great to be here with you guys.
So what is a dream that you have for yourself?
Do you have a career dream or a relationship dream or maybe some kind of like artistic dream?
You know,
Like something creative that you want to do.
Or do you struggle with getting inspired with your life?
A lot of people do,
You know.
I've talked to so many people who have trouble coming up with dreams for their lives.
So many people have trouble coming up with dreams for their lives.
They don't feel like they're worthy.
They feel like it's silly to create a dream or it's kid stuff.
But guess what?
Dreaming about possibility can be for everyone.
So let's think about that.
Let's think about what a possibility is versus a dream.
I mean it's just so much easier,
Don't you think?
It's so much easier to think about a possibility instead of it versus a dream,
Right?
So what is a possibility?
To me,
A possibility is like a stepping stone to a dream,
To dreaming about stuff,
Right?
There's so much pressure on us,
On everybody,
On kids especially,
To dream.
So much pressure on us to dream big.
Our high school teachers,
College teachers.
If you can dream it,
You can be it.
So much pressure.
Our mentors even.
Even our mentors.
Tell us to dream.
So what if we took that pressure away and instead of dreaming,
Let's just simply create a possibility.
Let's simply create a possibility for us,
For our lives.
Because a possibility is more like maybe.
It's more like a maybe.
It's kind of like a I like that idea versus the I'm going to and it,
You know,
It takes away that pressure.
So what is a possibility that you can create for yourself?
Today,
Right here today,
My possibility is to reach thousands of people and show them that meditation is a great way to reduce stress and create a relationship with spirit.
That's my possibility.
Of course,
I've had some time to think about it because I knew what I was going to talk about today.
My possibility is to help people develop a relationship with spirit and that's not a dream.
That's not really a dream.
It's a possibility.
Like maybe I can help somebody forge a relationship with their with spirit.
I don't know.
For me anyway,
I don't know.
Doesn't the term possibility take off the weight?
Having to accomplish something.
Because when it's just a possibility,
It's just not so maybe it's a possibility,
Right?
So what if that possibility or dream doesn't materialize?
If it's a dream,
It's like you're crushed.
Your dreams are crushed.
But if it's a possibility,
Okay,
Let's maybe create something else then.
You know,
We put so much pressure on words.
Words are so important,
You know,
And it's so funny to me because like some words create so much pressure.
Stop.
We have to stop.
Stop.
Go.
Go.
We can go.
Go.
Dream.
Oh my god,
We have to dream.
I have to dream.
What's my life going to be like?
What am I going to dream?
But a possibility?
I don't know.
It takes that away.
It takes that away.
What if this possibility comes true?
What if you do?
What if this possibility becomes a reality?
Awesome.
So again,
Create another one.
I love that.
So today,
Our meditation,
We are going to focus on creating possibility.
We are going to just just sit in the silence with our affirmation that I'm going to give you.
And we are just going to just be.
Right?
We're going to sit with possibility.
So let's all get comfortable.
Let's get rolling here.
Right?
Let's sit.
Very comfortable.
In our chair,
We're laying down.
Let your eyes float closed.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
That's my possibility of becoming relaxed.
I love that.
A possibility of being relaxed.
That's great.
Let's take another nice long,
Really long deep,
Deep breath in.
So go really slow.
Beautiful.
As we get our mind starting to slow down for meditation,
Here's a question for us today.
Let's talk about,
Let's think,
Not talk about,
But let's think about three things that we are grateful for.
What are three things you are absolutely grateful for?
Is it the weather?
Is it that you're healthy?
Is it that you know you're eating pizza for dinner or you had it last night?
Or you're grateful for being able to sit in this time,
This 20 minutes of time that we get every morning?
Very good.
So our mantra or affirmation for today is this.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
In our meditation,
We're going to repeat this over and over again and it will become part of who we are today.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
So we will keep repeating this mantra for the next few minutes.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bring your awareness to the chair you're sitting in.
Gently allow yourself to come back.
I am open to any possibility for me or my life.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
Very good.
And when you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
So wonderful.
We have created possibility.
You know,
That's the thing.
For a dream,
We can create anything.
For a possibility,
It just comes.
So as we go throughout our day,
Let's just consider possibility as being a possibility.
Right?
So thank you all for joining me today.
I wish you all love and joy and peace today.
Namaste,
Everybody.
Thank you for coming.
