When you feel disheartened or in sadness, there are 2 roads you can choose - the route of love or the route of fear. Choosing the road of love isn't always easy but it is powerful. The recent violence in our country wants us to choose fear as our dominant emotion but what if the collective chose love? Meditation can lift our hearts... let's do this together.

Good morning everybody.

Welcome to the Friday meditation today.

I kind of have no words on how I feel today.

The news from last night and this morning,

Not great.

And I almost didn't do this meditation today because I feel pretty broken.

There just are no happy words to be said in this little happy medium.

I try to keep things up,

Right?

But today with all of the unrest and all of the everything going on in the world,

I mean we can't even just limit it to everything that's been happening in the United States.

It's just,

It's everywhere.

Racism,

Unrest,

All of it is everywhere.

And I,

You know,

I try to stay on the upside and the positive side and the side of truth and the side of love,

Most importantly,

The side of love is where I try to stay.

And so today I just want to be real today.

I mean I always try to be real.

I guess I should say it that way.

That's kind of silly to say,

Huh?

But you know I just,

I just want,

You know,

And it's,

I feel really kind of naive in saying this,

But I just want the world to love.

Like why is love so difficult?

Why is love so difficult?

It like,

You know,

I mean if we,

If we as people just,

We're more about love than fear,

Because you know I don't believe in hate.

I believe that fear is the lowest emotion on the pole of emotions.

But you know I just don't understand why we can't just all be love,

You know?

And again I know that I feel like that that might be a little bit,

That might be a little bit naive and all of that kind of stuff,

But you know that's what I wish for the world,

You know?

And that's really why I started meditating.

That's why meditation is so important to me,

Because I,

When I'm in times right,

Like right now of worry and upset,

It always comes back to love for me.

It always comes back to love.

I love every single person listening to this.

I love the world.

And you know,

So at any rate,

I was trying to figure out how to go on with my meditation today,

And I came across a Martin Luther King quote,

King Jr.

Quote,

And I wanted to share that with you,

Because I feel like that he like sort of thought the same thing.

So this is what he said,

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality.

This is why right,

Temporarily defeated,

Is stronger than evil triumphant.

What a what a brave man.

Can you imagine the strength and like,

Like he must have loved the world.

Gosh.

Because he just wanted us all to be love.

I mean,

Oh my gosh.

So at any rate,

Sorry to get emotional.

I'm just I'm very,

Very,

Yeah,

I'm just emotional,

I guess I could just say as I'm sure a lot of people are.

But you know what,

I think today,

I'm choosing love.

I'm choosing,

I'm choosing love.

I'm choosing unconditional love.

That's what I'm choosing.

So let's do this.

Right.

You know,

I was going to use the mantra today,

Shanti,

Which is peace.

However,

You know,

I think that I realized I get the last second that there's something that might be a little bit more appropriate.

And it's called ho'oponopono.

And I've used it before.

And it is a series of phrases.

And you say it over and over and over again.

And it helps to heal.

It helps to heal.

And that's what I feel like maybe we need right now.

And we need to get back to that place of love.

Right.

So ho'oponopono.

Four phrases.

Okay.

And if we meditate on this today,

And if we dedicate our meditation to whomever we need to dedicate it to,

It's up to you.

Right.

And if we do ho'oponopono,

I believe that we could change the world.

And that my little tiny,

My little tiny video.

Yes,

We can change the world with our meditation.

So here is ho'oponopono.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Right.

Yeah.

That makes me very emotional.

Let's.

.

.

Because we're not saying I'm sorry to one person.

We're saying I'm sorry to the universe.

We're saying please forgive me to the universe.

We're saying it to everybody,

Individuals and everybody.

I should say it that way.

Thank you to the universe expressing our gratitude.

And I love you to the world because the world needs it.

So let's get ourselves comfortable and get ourselves in a correct place.

Okay.

In the right place.

And let's take a really nice deep breath in today.

Okay.

So we can start this out in a beautiful way.

Okay.

So let's take a deep breath in,

Filling up our lungs and release.

Let's do that one more time.

Let's breathe in.

Breathe in love and peace and forgiveness.

Unconditional love into our bodies.

Hold it in there and release it to the world because we need that today.

Right.

Okay.

So when you feel comfortable,

Let's let our eyes go closed.

Let our eyes go closed.

Get ourselves in a relaxed position.

Put your hands with your palms up.

I'm reminded of the Ram Dass quote that I think about all the time is that we are really all just walking each other home.

And I think that's how we need to maybe focus on today.

Who is it that you would like to dedicate your meditation to today?

Is it an individual?

Is it a group of people?

Is it the world?

You get to choose.

So as we choose who we're dedicating our meditation to today,

Let's consider the ho'oponopono mantra for today.

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

I'm sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to the room we're in.

And even as relaxed as we might feel right now,

We need to come back.

Let's take a deep breath in to kind of seal the meditation for us.

So let's take a deep breath and hold it in our lungs and release.

Beautiful.

And whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

Again,

I could have sat like for another hour.

In fact,

I might just do that.

I think I needed that today.

So,

Yes.

So thank you for joining me today and I wish you a day of truth and unconditional love.

And be easy on yourself today.

Thank you for joining me and I will talk to you next time.

Bye everybody.
