Good morning,

Everybody.

Namaste.

Welcome to the morning meditation or afternoon meditation or evening meditation.

Whatever part of the day it is,

Whenever you're listening or seeing this.

So,

Are you brave?

Are you brave?

Do you consider yourself brave or courageous?

The late John Lewis said,

You must be bold,

Brave and courageous and find a way to get in the way.

I wanted to incorporate John Lewis into today's because he passed away just very recently.

And I know that he was talking about equality and all of that when he wrote that or when he said that.

But we can take that in so many ways.

We can take the be bold in so many ways.

We need to be bold in our lives and find a way to be courageous.

Finding a way to be courageous is really,

Really can be daunting sometimes.

And then,

Of course,

Robert Frost,

The very famous quote says,

Freedom lies in being bold.

Freedom lies in being bold.

That's amazing.

Right?

So,

I wanted to share with you guys.

Recently,

There was a situation and in this group of people,

I wasn't feeling completely accepted.

And I own those feelings.

Those are my feelings.

I own that.

And it made me question myself.

It made me question who I was.

It made me question so much.

You understand how that goes.

But here's what I thought after some reflection.

I can heal myself by accepting myself without condition.

If I accept myself without condition,

That's such a form of healing.

Right?

And the other side of that is that I can heal myself by forgiving myself as well.

That is being bold.

And that is being brave.

And that is being courageous.

When we talk about forgiving ourselves and accepting ourselves.

Right?

So I thought that that was such a beautiful way to begin the week.

Begin your day,

Begin your month,

Whatever.

Right?

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

And today we are going to focus on this gratitude.

Right?

We're going to focus on gratitude today.

The gratitude of being ourselves and accepting ourselves and forgiving ourselves.

Isn't that pretty amazing?

So let's gently let our eyes float closed.

Let's take a nice long,

Deep,

Deep breath in.

And release.

There's nothing better than releasing that breath.

I love that.

Let's take another long,

Very slow,

Deep breath in.

Perfect.

Very good.

So let's begin our meditation time.

Finding those things that completely make us feel total appreciation for.

What do you feel complete appreciation for and grateful for?

Let's dig deep a little bit in this.

You know,

Because we can always say,

And I've said this before,

We can always say our family,

Our friends,

Our job,

Our,

You know,

Whatever.

Let's dig a little deep today.

Do you feel gratitude for yourself?

Do you feel gratitude for the concept of forgiveness?

I feel grateful for these words and for these concepts and for these ways of being.

These are all thoughts,

All just different thoughts.

I'm so grateful for that.

I realize that's a little deep for today.

But I'm grateful that I have the ability to do these meditations every single day.

So grateful for that.

I'm grateful for the fact that I did not feel as though I was accepted into that situation that I was talking about,

So that I could learn that I need to accept myself and others.

So today's mantra is thank you.

Very small,

Two small words,

But very important words.

So as we start sitting in our silence with our mantra,

Thank you.

If you feel like you've,

If you drift away from the mantra,

That's absolutely okay.

Or if you fall asleep,

That's okay.

Just bring yourself back very gently to the mantra.

Thank you.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Good thing.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Let's bring ourselves back.

To our bodies,

To the room where we're sitting.

.

And say thank you to the universe for bringing us together today.

And for all the amazing things in our lives.

Whether that's emotion.

Or whatever it is.
