Good morning and welcome.
Begin by finding a comfortable relaxed position,
Seated or lying down where you can relax.
Place your arms wherever they feel comfortable.
Today is a new day.
You have the opportunity to start fresh right here and right now.
We're going to start our meditation today by taking three deep breaths together.
Here we go.
Take a deep breath in all the way down to your belly.
And now breathe out,
Emptying your lungs completely.
And breathe in again,
Deep,
Deep breath.
And now blow the air out through your mouth.
Breathe in,
Filling your lungs.
And now breathe it all out,
Emptying your lungs completely.
Good.
Allow your breath to naturally flow now.
And slowly bring your awareness to your breath.
And without changing anything,
Just notice how it feels when you breathe in or you breathe out.
Good.
Now bring your attention inward.
Take a second to notice the air touching your skin on your face.
Notice any sounds you may hear around you.
And feel the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.
Be here right now.
Noticing when a thought comes up to you and letting it go,
Coming back to the present moment.
Continue to breathe slowly and gently bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Picture a warm golden light spreading on top of your head.
It is shiny and sparkly and it comes from inside of you.
Picture this golden light spreading down through your face,
To your neck,
Over your shoulders,
Spreading down through your arms,
All the way out to your fingertips.
Imagine the golden light building up in your chest area and spreading down over your belly.
And down to your hips,
Through your legs,
All the way down to your feet.
Feel your muscles relax as the light washes over you.
Surrounding and protecting you.
Now,
Take a moment and sit with your light.
Feel it vibrating all over your body.
Good.
Before I let you go ahead and start your day,
I want us to finish this up with three deep breaths together.
Here we go.
Take a deep breath in,
Fill your lungs up.
And now,
Breathe out,
Emptying your lungs completely.
Breathe in again through your nose.
And now blow the air out through your mouth.
Blow it all out.
And breathe in,
Filling your lungs.
And now empty your lungs completely.
Good.
You may gently begin to bring back your awareness to the space you're in.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Start wiggling your fingers,
Move your feet.
And whenever you're ready,
You may gently open your eyes.
