Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.

Let's hold it for a count of six.

Release for six.

Let's inhale for eight.

Hold for eight.

And exhale for eight.

Now let's settle into a rhythm with our breathing.

Even breaths in and out.

And as we do this,

Maybe our eyes are closed and we're bringing our gaze slightly upward.

Maybe to a point between the eyebrows.

Giving ourselves a higher vision,

Resting our gaze a little higher placed and straightforward.

Rest your gaze where you want to go.

But don't lose track of the breath.

Keep the breath even.

Keep it deep.

Let the abdomen expand with each breath.

Remembering the meditation is an active process.

It's not passive.

It's more rejuvenating than rest because it's not rest.

It's invigorating.

Engage the spine,

Engage the breath.

Engage the abdomen.

For the next few breaths,

Let's make our breaths as even as possible.

Pay attention.

Get inside the breath.

Let it expand the abdomen.

Fill every pocket of the body.

And if you feel yourself slipping off,

Just check in with the anchors,

The gaze,

Posture,

The breath.

Our theme today is here to serve.

And it's been top of mind for me lately because I realize that every time the little ego gets its hooks in me,

Makes me feel inadequate or too scattered,

Too frazzled,

Too little time.

A simple pivot out of that hold is to get back to serving others.

The same way all of you are about to do today with your clients,

Families,

Neighbors,

Self,

The same way we're doing with one another right now.

Even breaths in and out.

The prerequisite to serving others is bringing our presence with us because any other warm body could show up and do a job.

Our presence is our singular value.

So let's begin by deepening our own presence.

Smiling to ourselves because we are here to serve ourselves first.

Knowing that our capacity to serve others expands exponentially in relation to us serving ourselves.

Steady breaths in and out.

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture yourself,

Visualize yourself.

At your best,

Laughing,

Strong,

Strong pose,

Elegant movements.

With ease,

With flow.

Hold the image of yourself.

Watch how you move.

Watch how you interact.

Watch how you elevate and spire uplift.

Notice the people around you wondering how you do it.

Watch yourself glide.

Whether you're working a room,

Working with your family,

Working in your yard.

The next step just seems to arrive effortlessly.

And then our breaths in and out.

Let's remind ourselves,

I am ease.

I am flow.

I am here to serve.

Let's widen the frame from our view of ourselves,

How to include those we live with or near our neighbors.

Whoever we see before leaving for the office.

Notice our impact,

How their days are improved by our proximity.

We are ease.

We are flow.

We are here to serve.

Acknowledge your influence on those around you.

Be grateful for their influence and impact on you.

They are ease.

They are flow.

They are here to serve.

Expand the frame and the view,

The perimeter of your awareness to include your coworkers,

Your teammates,

Your vendors,

Your clients.

Grateful for the size of your universe,

Not so small is it.

Acknowledge your influence and impact on those you serve.

And receive their influence and gratitude for you.

Because you are ease.

You are flow.

You are here to serve.

Turn into the aspects of your work that you would do,

Regardless of pay or no pay.

Actions you take in the service of all because it's who you are.

Maybe it's the way you smile and acknowledge those that cross your path.

Your ability to see greatness in them.

You are ease.

You are flow.

You're only here to serve.

We might call it work,

But oftentimes it's our pleasure.

Oftentimes it's our mission.

You are flow.

You are yourself standing in a giant ballroom or arena with everyone you've ever served.

Your clients,

Customers,

Patrons,

All gathered around you to pay tribute.

Let this giant space fill with their acknowledgement of your value,

Your service.

Your ankles quickly reach your knees.

Your waist.

Their love and gratitude for your service is reaching your shoulders,

Your neck.

You make sure how you would stand,

How you would receive that.

Everything you've ever contributed.

Enveloping your head,

Your ears.

20 feet,

50 feet above you,

Overflowing the room.

Everyone around you suspended in the value you've created,

Your contribution,

Your loving service.

Remembering that we deserve only a fraction of the value we create for others.

And that yours has been staggering.

You have the knowledge that you're well taken care of financially,

Materially.

All your needs are met in this moment.

You are healthy.

You are happy.

You are connected.

Expand the scene that you're in to include the entire community,

The city,

The state that you serve in.

Look for the pockets where you could serve more.

What can you contribute?

It's never been a question of time or resources.

It's a question of having a servant's heart and a leader's vision.

Hundreds of thousands impacted and influenced by your willingness and capacity to serve.

Remind yourself as that universe grows,

I am ease.

I am flow.

I am here to serve.

My work and my love,

My impact has ease.

It flows.

It is only in the service of others.

Let the scene expand further.

The world,

Neighboring countries,

Neighboring communities,

States,

Continents,

All inspired by your capacity to serve,

Your intention to serve.

Your track record of service.

You can see that you are ease.

You are flow.

You're only here to serve.

They bow,

They make room because they know it's only about them.

It's not about you.

You're a vessel.

You're a vessel.

You're a vessel.

You're a vessel.

You're a vessel.

I wish you ease.

I wish you flow.

I am here for those you serve.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

I am flow.

the work we'd do whether we were paid or not. our gift/calling/what we do naturally that looks like Work but feels like Love. counter cultural outliers.
