Welcome back.
Today we're going to focus on releasing thoughts rather than resist them.
So as we come up to our comfortable seated meditation posture,
Focusing in on the breath,
Eyes closed,
Our gaze resting at the center of the forehead.
Just relax into the knowing that you are exactly where you should be for the next few minutes.
Breathing more deeply,
More slowly,
With each passing breath.
You could either practice your 4-7-8 breathing cycles or just follow my voice as we tune in and create each intentional breath together.
Deep breath on the inhale.
Big release on the exhale all through the nose.
Just notice if you will any thoughts or emotions that arise.
In meditation it doesn't make sense to question why we're thinking the thoughts.
Just to notice they are there before gently bringing our attention back to the breath.
Let's practice some thoughtful intentions of peace.
I am peace.
When thoughts arise,
We remind ourselves I am peace.
I am peace.
I am calm.
Day by day I am practicing and improving.
I am peace.
I am calm.

And with these reminders,
From a place of peace and calm,
Let's set our intention for the day.
