Taking in a nice deep breath,
I allow myself to become centered,
To become quiet and still,
Keeping my awareness on my breathing.
I notice that my body begins to relax more into the chair or the place that I'm sitting.
I bring in my awareness,
These two qualities of calmness and strength.
I am both of these qualities.
When I'm quiet and centered,
I come back fully into these qualities.
My calmness,
That natural homeostasis is very palpable when I come into stillness and silence.
It is my natural state of being.
Being calm,
Being centered,
Being relaxed,
And this calmness is a strength.
It is a power,
Because when I am calm,
I can make decisions.
I can respond and react the way that I would like to,
And that is an empowerment.
I hold on to this calmness,
The strength of calmness as I go about my day,
Coming back to my breath to relax me and remind me of my natural state of calmness and the power within that.
I use my breath to keep me present,
To keep me centered.
