Hello and welcome.
This is Claire and I'm so glad that you're here.
During this session I will be guiding you through a candle meditation.
What you need for this meditation is a candle.
It can have any shape.
It can have any size or color.
If it has a smell that you like or a color that is in alignment with your intention,
That is even better.
However,
It is not much of importance if it is just a white candle or a candle of any color.
This is a great meditation when it comes to setting boundaries.
We will be grounded in ourself and for this meditation we will keep our eyes open and focused in the light of the candle.
So let's begin.
I invite you to light your candle with an intention in mind.
It can be as simple as learning boundaries and learning to better connect and to better own your energetic field.
Make sure it is safe to keep the candle lit in your environment and if it is not,
I invite you to take a candle that is not with natural fire.
So lighting the candle and focusing in its flame while at the same time being aware of your body.
You can start with being aware of your breath.
In order for you to breathe comfortably,
You will need to have the candle at a certain distance.
Notice your breathing while being focused in the flame.
Notice how your body is reacting.
How are you feeling?
Notice your breath.
Notice your muscles and invite your muscles to relax.
A very important concept for this meditation is to be aware of your breath.
You will need to be aware of the fact that your breath and your intention are boundaries.
Physically,
I want you to be focused for this meditation in the physical aspect of boundaries between yourself,
Your physical body and the flame of the candle and the candle itself.
So notice how you,
Your body,
Your physical body and the candle,
The physical aspect of the candle are two different beings.
And you are rooted in your body.
Your physical aspect is your own body.
Feel your body and feel your physical boundaries.
And notice how the flame is moving or just staying still.
Something that I like about this meditation is the feeling that even though you may like the candle,
You may like the color of the candle,
You may like its smell or even the flame,
You are not to touch it because you can get burned.
Taking this concept in our human relationships,
There are certain people you may want to help or you may want to be around of.
However,
It is safe to notice if you are being overly empathic and are overcoming or are neglecting your own boundaries.
Your boundaries are there to keep you safe.
Your boundaries are necessary for you to normally function,
For you to be happy and safe.
And even though you may have a good heart and want to help,
Pay attention because not everyone needs your help.
And as you practice during this meditation the concept of boundaries between you and the candle,
You are reminding yourself that boundaries are really important.
And as you rewire this concept in your nervous system,
It will come naturally for you to give help where it is asked for and appreciated.
Respecting your own boundaries is an act of self-love and self-appreciation.
Notice how your body is reacting to this concept.
Notice how you are feeling.
Notice the sensations that you are receiving.
How are your muscles?
How does your body feel?
Breathe into your heart and connect with the energy of your heart while still being aware of your physical reality,
Of your physical boundaries.
Connect with your body.
Pay attention and fill your body with love,
With the intention of love.
Bringing your awareness to your physical reality,
To your physical boundaries,
To your physical body.
You can stay in this state of being for as long as you desire.
Emerged in this intention and sensation and the state of mindfulness.
And whenever you're ready,
You can bless your body,
You can bless the candle and everything around you and you can close this meditation.
Thank you so much for being here,
Sending you so much love and we'll hear again in the next meditation.
Bye for now.
