You can close your eyes now if that feels more comfortable for you.
And just do whatever you can to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
Whether that's laying down or seated,
It's completely up to you.
Understand yourself that for the next few minutes there is nothing you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be.
This is your time for you.
Begin by bringing attention to your body.
You may be noticing how good it feels to let go completely and surrender to gravity.
Feeling the weight of your body on the surface beneath you,
Knowing that it is fully supporting you.
Allow yourself to soften and let go.
Become aware of any tension you might be feeling or holding in your body.
Realizing all the stress and ease and just focusing on this moment right now.
Let your facial muscles be soft.
Soften your jaw.
Breathe out the muscles around your eyes and your eyebrows.
If you're holding any tension in your shoulders,
Release and let go.
Allow the tension to wash away into the earth.
Notice the sensation in your hands.
Are they warm or cold?
Are they held in a fist or are they in a loose grip?
See if you can allow them to soften.
Now bring your attention to your chest,
Your lungs and simply notice how it feels to breathe.
Not changing anything,
Just noticing your breath.
Bring your attention now to your belly and connect with your baby.
Visualize your baby all comfy and cozy,
Growing healthy and strong.
And maybe with your hands on your belly,
Imagine sending love to your baby and visualize them receiving it.
You might like to take a few more minutes to send whatever other wishes you have for your grown baby.
And now reflecting on your body as you change and grow to accommodate life.
What an incredible gift it is.
Send appreciation for this body temple you have that has the capacity to create and carry human life.
Fill your entire body with loving gratitude for everything it does for you and for your baby.
And slowly bringing your awareness back into the present moment,
Back to the space that you are in.
And slowly blinking your eyes open and spending a moment looking around the space that you are in before you continue on with your day.
