I invite you now to get comfortable and relaxed as we go through this body scan meditation to help bring relaxation and awareness into the felt sense of the body.

Taking a moment to get comfortable either sitting or lying down and I invite you now to gently close your eyes and we're going to start at the top of the head the crown chakra going through and just relaxing the muscles on the top of the head moving down into the forehead relaxing all of the tiny muscles the sides of the eye behind the eye under the eye relaxing the cheek bones and unclenching the jaw removing your tongue from the roof of your mouth and feeling this relaxation pour down the front of your neck into your chest feeling the heart space opening and expanding as the relaxation moves across the tops of the shoulders and down the arms all the way down through the elbow through the wrist into the tops of the hands and the fingers moving back up the forearms on the inner part of the arms into the armpits moving down into the ribs now over the front of the stomach relaxing all of your organs moving down into the pelvis relaxing the hips the tops of the thighs over the knees down the shins over the tops of the feet and really just feeling the energy ground down into Mother Earth feeling so supported allowing yourself to maybe even connect roots into the ground from the soles of your feet feeling that energy ground down and reminding yourself of the beautiful energy that's available to you from Mother Earth from the center of the Earth's core sucking up all of that energy as we move back up through the Achilles and the calves through the backs of the knees up the quads into the buttocks feeling those sit bones and relaxing all of the lower back feeling that relaxation move up through the mid-back in the spine really allowing yourself to roll the shoulders release so much of that tension that we carry within our shoulders up the back of the neck the back of the head and through the crown and just assessing any sensations that might have arisen for you during this meditation taking some time now to notice where in the body you're feeling that and taking some time once this meditation ends to place a hand maybe both hands on that area and allowing some white light energy or Reiki energy if you are attuned to come to that area of the body now pouring in that white light energy that loving energy of the universe into that area of the body and just giving it some extra love thank you for joining me today and as always now this day you
