Welcome to today's meditation for your heart.

Begin by finding a comfortable seat.

You can find a cushion to sit on or something that allows your hips to be higher than your knees.

Bring your hands to rest on your thighs,

Letting your gaze drop to the floor or closing your eyes.

Begin to come into this inward space by breathing in and out,

Releasing any tension you are holding.

Softening in the forehead,

In the jaw,

The shoulders,

And your hands.

Releasing tension with each breath out.

Now imagine sending your breath to your heart.

As you inhale,

You breathe in all the light,

Love,

And goodness to surround your heart.

And as you breathe out,

You exhale any fear,

Any tension,

Any debris from the walls that have risen around your heart.

Let the movement of the breath bring in light and love and take out what is no longer yours to carry.

If you find your mind wandering away from the heart,

This is normal and fine and you just had a moment of awareness.

So celebrate this moment of awareness and then gently guide your thoughts back to focusing on the heart and moving the breath in and out.

Opening and clearing that space.

As you breathe in the support and kindness and space your heart needs and you breathe out what is ready to leave,

Feel your heart space expanding.

Feel the realization that you are ready to be loved and to love.

You may continue practicing this breathing into your heart space or I invite you to picture something in your life,

Whether it's something that's happened or something that may be coming up,

But something that you would like to move into wholeheartedly and open heartedly.

Picture in your mind what that would look like.

Visualize moving into that moment with an open heart.

And again,

If your mind wanders,

Celebrate that moment of awareness and kindly bring it back to this visualization.

Know that you have an incredible opportunity to move into moments of life with an open heart from an open heart.

Yes,

There can be fear and there can be walls,

But we can choose to come from a place of open heartedness.

Take a deep breath in,

Bringing your hands to your heart.

Thinking your heart for beating for feeling and for opening today.

Exhale any last tension you are carrying.

Smile and let your eyes flutter open.

As you come back into the space.
