Over time, all of us can create a wall of heartache, which prevents us from truly being alive and happy. In this meditation process, you will place your hand over your heart. You will observe and listen to your heart. Feeling the space and energy around the heart. Then you will see a white light within the palm of your hand. This light will dissolve the heartache and wall around and within your heart. Creating more space, love and acceptance.

Hello.

I'd like for you to get in a nice,

Relaxed and comfortable position.

And with one of your hands,

I'd like for you to place it over your heart,

The center of your chest.

And just feel the space there.

Breathe deeply into the body.

And feel the energy,

The space within and around your heart.

Although the mind has many voices,

Let its words just float away.

Watch the momentum unfolding easily,

Gently.

Let your belly soften to receive this moment.

Aware of the energy and the space within your heart.

Allow your awareness to roam free within the body,

Within your heart.

Exploring sensations.

With a gentle observation.

With kindness and compassion.

Breathe in.

Exhale deeply.

And let go.

And if you could examine your heart.

Ask yourself if it has a wall or a barrier of heartache.

And allow your mind to bring up a thought,

An image,

A word of what it would be.

What is that barrier or wall made of?

Is it metal?

Is it wood?

Is it stone?

What is it?

Breathe in.

Just observing.

Just softly listening.

And does a memory or a time come to mind that represents or symbolizes that heartache?

As in an event.

A person.

Unkind words.

Just connect.

Explore the sensations within the heart.

And if the heart could speak,

What would it say?

What does it need?

Just listen.

Acknowledge the state of mind.

And even notice that the sensations change.

You're just receiving.

Simply listening.

Nothing to answer back.

Listen to your heart.

And note the voice there.

Is there intensity?

Is the voice angry?

Is the voice frightened?

Is the voice confused?

Listen to its tone.

When you listen,

Does it make you feel better or worse?

When you listen,

Does it wish the heart to heal?

And when you listen,

Does it have mercy on you?

Is it open to forgiveness or love?

Does it resist letting go of its suffering within the heart?

Is there love in that voice?

Or is there judgment or pity or doubt?

Just listen.

Just feel.

Just receive this moment as it is.

And now I want you to get a sense of a greater power,

A higher power.

Get a sense as your hand rests over your heart that there is a light glowing in the palm of your hand that covers your heart.

It is a white light.

A pure light.

A soothing and loving light.

The light that connects us all.

A light that connects you and me as one.

Feel it.

The power and the energy of that light in the palm of your hand.

And as you breathe in,

Just receive it.

Welcome it.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Welcome.

And feel as if the light can pull out the heartache.

Like a vacuum.

A suction of energy.

Pulling out the heart strings.

Dissolving the barrier.

Eliminating the heart wall.

It is vibrating.

It is humming.

With such warmth.

With such acceptance and forgiveness.

All is understood.

All is forgiven.

You are the light.

We are the light.

You deserve this light.

And so with your hand over your heart,

Say welcome.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Welcoming and receiving the light.

Feel its energy.

Feel the changeability within the heart.

Feel its process unfolding in this space.

Feel all the heartache being lifted and pulled away into the light.

Notice the feelings.

Notice the anger dissolving.

Notice the self pity melting away.

The judgment dissolves in the light.

Breathe in the light.

Notice the hopelessness dissolving in the light.

As if that dark room you have been locked away in,

There is now a pinhole of light that illuminates the room.

Breathing space and openness.

Each feeling melts away.

Dissolves away.

Feel the light.

Penetrate the dark.

Feel its warm embrace.

So soft.

So pure.

So innocent.

So forgiving.

The light sees you.

The light knows you.

The light hears you.

The light welcomes you home.

Like a warm embrace.

You're okay.

You're good enough.

You matter.

I hear you.

I see you.

I welcome you home.

Breathe in.

Watch.

Watch how life is constantly unfolding all by itself.

Your heart is constantly unfolding all by itself.

Observe how thoughts think themselves.

Notice how feelings feel themselves.

Giving more space and room for the heart.

Opening your heart.

Feel it.

The beating of your heart.

Just examining moment to moment.

And see and feel how the light.

Softens the heart.

Embraces the heart.

Accepts the heart.

Letting each moment of experience.

Arise as it will.

Letting the heart be.

Letting the breath come and go.

With sweet surrender.

You are good enough.

You matter.

You are among a friend.

You are worthy of this gift.

The gift of releasing heartache.

The gift of just being you.

You are a gift to this world.

You matter.

You are important.

And so as you breathe in and feel your heart softening and opening to the light.

You can notice how the chest clears.

The throat opens.

The body releases the trapped emotions of heartache.

You are just receiving.

Watching it all unfold.

Letting each moment of experience.

Arise as it will.

And when you are ready.

See and feel the light.

Beginning to fade away.

And breathe into the heart.

Observe how the heart feels now.

Observe the thoughts you think around your heart.

You are okay.

You are okay.

You will be okay.

And feel that truth now.

That you are okay.

You will be okay.

I am here for you.

To stay in this space of just allowing.

Just being.

Soft breath.

Open heart.

Breathing.

Observing.

Letting yourself be.

Just be.

Just breathe.

You are okay.

You are okay.

That's it.

Letting go.

Letting life itself unfold.

Breathe and be.

And let it so.

You are okay.

This beautiful meditation, combined with some self reiki, helped me to connect with a deep father wound. I was able to see how my wound is generational, and also present in many of my recent relationships. It felt so good to acknowledge that and I will return to this meditation as a part of my healing process.
