Welcome to 5 minute resets.
A time to pause,
Reset your nervous system,
And return to yourself.
Today's practice is an energy cleansing.
It is designed to remove heavy,
Stagnant,
Or negative energy from your body,
Making space for fresh,
Rejuvenating energy to restore harmony,
Balance,
And flow.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
To help your body settle into this focused practice.
Now we set an intention for this practice.
I invite you to repeat after me,
Out loud is best and in your mind will work just fine.
I release what no longer serves me.
I invite harmony,
Balance,
And flow.
Now settle into your natural breathing rhythm.
Start by noticing the bottoms of your feet.
Imagine roots growing from your feet,
Deep into the ground,
Connecting you with the earth.
Now imagine a beam of soft white light shining down from above.
Intuitively,
You understand this light to be full of warmth and love.
It flows down like a gentle shower into and around your body.
You feel the light enter the crown of your head.
It expands as it flows down past your eyes,
Ears,
Nose,
And mouth.
As it takes up more space,
It quietly seeks out any heavy or negative energy inside you.
The light detaches those energetic blocks from where they are stuck.
And moves them down through your body with the flowing light.
This takes no effort on your part.
The light does all of the work for you.
The white light moves down into your neck,
Expanding your airways,
Removing energetic blockages,
Keeping you from speaking your truth.
It moves through your shoulders,
Relieving you of the burdens you carry there.
It glides down your arms all the way to your fingertips.
The white light fills the space,
Glowing from within.
It travels down from your neck and shoulders into your heart space.
Here it brightens,
Opening your heart further.
It continues to spread throughout your chest cavity and upper back.
You feel the light move down into your belly and hips,
Where we often store difficult emotional experiences.
The light knows how to find exactly what you are ready to release in this moment.
It continues down your legs,
Past your knees,
And into your feet.
Here it connects with the roots growing deep into the earth.
Pause here for a moment and feel the loving white light filling your entire body,
Head to toe,
Leaving no room for anything else.
Notice how that feels in your body.
Take a deep breath,
Breathing what you notice even further into your consciousness.
Continue to take deep breaths.
As you breathe in,
Imagine pulling more of the white light from the beam above into your body.
As it does,
It attaches to any lingering negative energy,
Darkness,
Old patterns,
Beliefs no longer serving you.
As you breathe out,
Those things travel down your body,
Through your feet,
Into the roots connected to the earth.
Continue breathing like this,
Pulling the white light in and releasing through your feet.
Allow the earth to swallow up what is no longer serving you,
What you are ready to release.
I release what no longer serves me.
I invite harmony,
Balance,
And flow.
When you feel like the white light has removed all it needs to in this moment.
Settle back into a natural breath.
The white light remains in your body even as the beam from above slowly fades away.
The roots that grew from your feet gradually dissolve into the earth below.
And no need to worry.
The beam of light and the roots will always be there for you anytime you ask them to return again.
Take one deep cleansing breath with a long sigh of an exhale.
Start by moving your fingers and toes,
Maybe some gentle stretching.
As you exhale your next breath,
Slowly open your eyes.
