Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
Whether you're lying down or sitting up.
Gently closing down our eyes.
Coming into presence with this moment.
And finding our breath.
Noticing as the air flows in through our nose.
And out through our mouths.
In through our nose.
In out through our mouths.
Beginning to invite.
Any gentle movement.
Maybe you need to roll your neck.
Around in circles.
We're turning the opposite way.
Releasing your jaw.
On your shoulders and really relaxing them.
Maybe you reach your arms up to the sky.
Stretching to the right Taking space.
I'm stretching to the left back up to the sky.
And bringing your arms back down.
Returning your hands to your side or on your lap.
Wherever they feel like they belong right now.
It could be your heart,
Your womb.
Maybe on your belly connecting to baby.
Face up face down.
Beginning to listen to your intuition.
Your maternal instinct.
And trusting them.
Coming back to your breath.
In through your nose.
In and out through your mouth.
Inviting any deep breaths or sighs.
Movements.
Maybe you're swaying your body from side to side.
Or maybe you begin to find stillness.
Your body slows down.
And it's just you and your breath.
You in this moment.
You're in this in between your final days.
Weeks of pregnancy.
Growing and carrying this soul.
As a human for nine months.
Now you're at this moment,
This crossroads.
Waiting.
For the moment that you enter into the labor and birth portal.
And bring that sweet soul to earth into your arms.
Continuing to breathe at a rhythm that feels good to you.
Maybe you're feeling an array of different emotions.
Excitement.
Fear,
Stress,
Overwhelm.
Joy,
Bliss.
Positivity,
Negativity.
Contradicting emotions.
You're holding so much right now in these moments and in these final days.
Organizing the house,
The baby thing.
Your health.
Your family.
Your children.
The baby inside of you.
Packing your hospital bag,
Or preparing your house for a home birth.
So much to do.
Earrings to run,
Food to cook.
Exercises.
This moment.
This container is for you.
Simply for you to slow down.
Breathe.
To relax.
Your body is craving stillness,
Relaxation.
Rest.
Take slow breaths.
Continuing to breathe,
I see you listen to my words.
And if any thought Start moving into your mind,
Fears,
Emotions.
Anything.
Simply notice them.
Allow them.
Allow them to simply pass by you like clouds in the sky.
There's no need to grasp onto them.
Rather focus on your breath.
Continuing to notice the air.
Goes in through your nose.
Out through your mouth.
I want you to place one hand on your heart.
And the other on your belly.
Just continuing to breathe.
Feeling a deep sense of gratitude for your body.
All it has done for you for the last nine months,
From growing to baby.
To nourishing you.
Furnishing baby.
And gratitude for labor and birth.
And everything this body will do for you.
I'm just feeling gratitude for your baby,
Your baby's body.
Everything you're being able to to come to the earth.
Encoding deep trust within your being.
Your body knows exactly what to do to bring your baby to earth.
You were born for that.
And repeating.
I trust my body.
I trust my body.
I trust my body.
Feeling it deep within your being.
Now repeating,
I trust my baby.
I trust my baby.
I trust my baby.
Feeling that deep within your being.
And returning to your breath.
Relaxing your hands back down to your sides around your lap.
We're keeping them where they are.
Just continuing to be here.
You've slowed down.
You're relaxed.
There's this mountain in front of you.
The labor and the birth,
And it's hard to see beyond it.
There's probably excitement,
Fear.
So many questions,
Wondering when this is all going to begin and unfold.
Can you take this moment to just be present with that baby in your belly?
Enjoy these moments.
These last days with baby in there.
I want you to simply ask your body,
Your womb,
Your baby,
Just ask.
What do you need for labor and birth to begin?
Take a deep breath into that question.
Comes through.
There are no wrong answers.
If the first thing that popped into your mind seems kind of silly.
It's probably exactly what you need.
Coming back to the breath.
In through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
You're so strong.
You're so loved,
So powerful.
So brave.
Trusting yourself.
Trust in your babies,
Trust in earth,
In your angels.
Remember all of the women who came before you and birthed babies have been exactly where you are.
Before you know it,
Your baby will be in your arms.
Taking one final deep breath in through your nose.
Out through your mouth.
Rather staying here and resting.
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Coming back to the space,
The room you're in.
Blinking your eyes open.
Welcome back.
Thank you so much.
