Letting go.
What is hidden behind this simple term?
A lot.
It is a principle of life,
A law of nature.
It is worth to pay attention to it.
There is a saying that our life is a process of letting go.
We are constantly letting go of the past,
Old habits and at the end of our life it is about the big letting go.
Your death.
At the latest,
Where we have to realize,
Sometimes very painfully,
That we cannot take anything of our material achievements with us.
We have to leave everything behind.
If you have learned in your life to consciously let go of old things and actively approach new ones,
Then this process will be much easier for you.
Thus,
Each letting go will help you practice,
Apply and thus internalize this principle yourself.
You can imagine this process like a lumberjack cutting logs with an axe.
Again and again.
Take a log,
Break it with the axe,
Then take the next log.
But after a while,
The lumberjack finds that the axe is dull.
It is no longer as supple as it was in the beginning.
On the contrary,
He always finds it difficult to do the same job.
It gets harder and harder.
But he says to himself,
I can't let go of the axe.
If I let go,
I won't have a tool at all.
So he continues with a blunt axe that is dull.
More and more force must be applied.
More and more effort for the same result.
But what he didn't know,
While he was so busy keeping his blunt axe,
It would have been much easier to let go of the old one.
Because a new axe with a much sharper blade was already waiting.
But what did he not do?
He did not clear the space and did not create a clearance for the axe to be replaced.
So what can we learn from this?
Letting go is a very good thing in some situations.
Letting go creates the space that can be filled anew.
The space can be filled with something much better.
However,
If the space remains filled,
Then there is no further room for improvement.
Ask yourself,
Do you live by the motto to avoid verse or are you ready to cut off old braids in order to receive something new?
Interestingly for many people,
Especially women,
There is the phenomenon of makeover after a breakup.
When there is a breakup,
Often especially the female part,
Tends to get a new hairstyle,
New clothes and maybe a new makeup.
This process often happens semi-consciously,
So on the one hand those affected feel that it is the right thing to do now.
On the other hand the deeper meaning of the action is often not revealed.
In the teachings of some native tribes it is said that the emotional energy of our actions,
The subtle energy,
Is stored in the hair.
If someone has suffered a lot because of separation pain in the last months or weeks,
This is another reason why it could be worthwhile to discard your previous hair.
Old clothes can sometimes trigger nice memories with a previous partner,
That means to switch off the stimuli consciously in order not to be confronted again and again with these old memories is worthwhile.
In this area of life,
Of the partnership,
This principle shows up very clearly,
But how does it look in other areas of life?
Your circle of friends,
Your work,
Your place of residence,
Your habits,
All these things need a close examination from time to time.
You have people in your circle of friends who take away more energy than they bring?
Do you have a job that you would rather change than stay in?
Do you feel comfortable in your place of residence or is this place no longer suitable for your current needs?
How do you start the day?
How do you eat?
How much do you drink?
How do you end your day?
What is your current relationship like?
Is it fulfilling and beneficial for all parties?
These are all questions that can lead you to let go of the things that no longer serve you.
But is this always successful?
No,
Many people choose a horror without end instead of an end without horror.
They don't dare to start something new for fear that they might lose the old.
What does this mean?
If you feel dissatisfied for a long time,
Then take the situations as an opportunity to question yourself.
In a peace and quiet,
Sitting in a forest with no cell phone,
No music,
A walk by the water or a hike in the mountains,
You may find what it is that you still need to let go.
Try it out.
Letting go is like taking a cold shower.
At the beginning you will think to yourself,
I don't feel like it.
But after this experience you will think to yourself,
I'm glad that I overcame myself,
That I dared and that I could get rid of my old fear.
Finally,
The following insight is important.
Create space and expect to fill it with something better.
What does this mean?
Think of it as an energetic vacuum.
This vacuum will not remain a vacuum.
It will strive for balance.
So set the frame with a conscious intention,
A conscious feeling of joy,
Happiness and above all gratitude.
The best that corresponds to you at this moment will come to you,
Quite often unexpectedly.
This often cannot be explained by demand.
But expect to be surprised.
Expect to be positively surprised by life.
This attitude,
In connection with the principle of letting go,
Will surely help you.
Try it out.
