Hey friends,
Welcome back.
My name is KC and we are continuing our chat on the four pillars of health with the focus right now being movement and exercise.
Our bodies are designed to move on a daily basis.
So trying to get those 8,
000 to 10,
000 steps on a daily basis is very important.
We also want to be incorporating strength training.
Lifting two to three times a week,
Heavy stuff.
I don't care if you like to do things at home or at the gym,
Maybe a CrossFit gym,
But get those two to three weightlifting sessions in every single week.
Muscle burns more energy.
So if your body your frame has more muscle on it.
You are burning more calories You are a highly efficient fuel burning machine.
That's why all of the things we've talked about,
Stress management,
Nutrition.
Exercise,
And of course,
All of those play into the health of our bodies.
We need to make sure that we are feeding them properly.
We are moving them enough.
We are managing the stress in our daily lives so that we can be calm people.
When we pour more into our cups,
We are able to give more to other people.
If we are running on empty,
We're not getting enough sleep,
We're just living on caffeine and coffee.
And we are not putting enough good food in our bodies,
Not managing the stress.
It all adds up and then inflammation comes.
With inflammation drives dis-ease in the body.
So if we can reduce inflammation in the body by the foods we eat,
By getting the sleep that we need,
Moving our bodies and managing stress,
We will be healthy.
We don't need all of these fancy workouts and all of these extra supplements.
If we just focus on the basics.
And are consistent with it,
We will see huge changes in our bodies and our health.
If you decide to do any changes,
Maybe adding a 20 minute walk every single day.
After you eat,
You will see major things start to happen in your body and your sleep.
And your body will feel better.
And who does not want to feel better in their body?
So be sure to manage your stress.
Sleep.
Eat good food,
And move your body.
Those are the four pillars to good health.
I am here to support you in any part of that.
I am a holistic health coach,
