My name is Christy and I'm glad you're here.
I will guide you into a short meditation practice for a calm mind and centered body.
Inhale deeply and exhale while gently create a smile on your face.
Smile because you just took the time to calm your mind and center your body in the present moment.
Take another deep inhale and place your hands on either your heart,
Belly or hips.
Feel what comes intuitive to you and exhale each time by pressing gently on your heart,
Belly or hips.
You're creating contact,
You're creating a safe space within your body by gently pressing on your heart,
Belly or hips.
You tell yourself,
I am here and I am safe.
Observe your next inhale and exhale,
Let it go.
Empty your lungs fully,
A little more,
Just a little more.
And take your next breath with awareness,
Drop your shoulders and exhale fully.
Whisper to yourself,
I am calm and centered.
I am calm and centered.
I am calm and centered.
Repeat as many times as you need.
You may open your eyes if you had them closed.
Remember to breathe.
Remember to observe.
And remember to just be.
