Good evening and welcome,
I'm so grateful you're here with me tonight.
Feel the world settling into quiet all around you,
Draping you in peace and calm.
Connect with your bed,
Letting the sheets caress you,
Softly hug you,
And the pillows gently support you,
So you are comfortable,
Completely comfortable.
Take a moment and let yourself follow your breath as it winds through your body.
Let yourself completely relax,
See if you can imagine a star shining brightly before you.
Its silvery twinkle warmly lights the darkness of your room,
And as you observe the star,
Notice that it changes.
Sometimes there's more light on one side,
Sometimes there's more light on the other.
Now visualize the star growing larger,
Large enough for you to climb aboard safely and securely.
Draw in a deep breath,
And as you exhale,
See yourself perched on the star.
The star begins to glow even brighter,
And brighter,
And then gently lifts off of the ground.
Become aware of yourself rising,
Rising toward the night sky.
Feel the cool night air gently kissing your skin.
Notice how the darkness opens to light as the star lifts you higher.
Notice the rooftops you pass,
And the trees as you rise into and above the clouds.
Breathe deep,
And see the full golden moon shimmering near you.
The star stops ascending,
And instead moves you closer to the moon,
Where the orb gives you a delicate smile and encourages you to travel more through the night sky.
Taking a cue from the moon,
The star rises higher in the galaxy,
Until it pauses in the constellation of Pegasus,
The winged horse.
As you approach the center of the constellation,
The stars composing the constellation light up,
Like floodlights on a stage,
Showing you their beauty and lighting the way for your travels.
As the star drifts away,
You hear a horse's neigh crack the silence of space,
And you wave.
Soon,
It feels like the star has taken you past the galaxy to a vantage point in space where you see many galaxies.
There are spiral galaxies,
The shimmer like the icing on a sweet roll.
There are elliptical galaxies that remind you of shiny saucers or frisbees.
And there are irregular galaxies,
Expressing their physical bodies differently.
As you observe all of these galaxies,
You can feel them teeming with life.
You feel connected to them,
Part of them.
After a while,
Your star begins to descend,
Passing through space clouds,
And entering the Milky Way once more.
Soon,
You glide below the constellations and the moon,
Past treetops and houses,
And back to your own room.
In your own bed,
Breathe in deeply,
And allow yourself to notice the calm and peace you feel.
Allow yourself to notice the sense of being connected to all of the universe,
Part of every bit of the stars,
Planets,
And galaxies.
And now,
Allow the peace you feel from this journey,
And your connection to all that is,
Live inside of you while you are asleep.
And stay with you as you awake.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
