Hello and welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.
I'm really grateful you're here.
Let your eyes close and ease yourself into comfort.
The day is done,
And it's time for release,
So let your breath bring you right here,
Fully in this moment,
In your bed,
With your breath,
In your body.
Let your head rest a little heavier into the pillow,
Feel your jaw loosen,
And let your eyes soften,
And let your mind unwind,
Just one slow breath at a time.
Breathe in,
And then breathe out,
And feel the mind relax just a little more.
Maybe it's still spinning,
Maybe it's clinging to unfinished tasks,
Or replaying conversations from the day,
Or reaching towards something that hasn't happened yet.
It's all okay,
That's just what the mind does,
But you can be here,
You don't have to follow it.
Like leaves floating downstream,
You can simply watch the thoughts pass by,
One after another,
Without needing to catch or control a single one.
You are not your thoughts,
You are the sky they drift through,
The spaciousness beneath and beyond them,
And in this space,
You can soften even more.
Let your shoulders melt,
Let your chest rise and fall with ease,
Let your belly be soft,
Let your arms hang heavy,
Let your legs feel like they're sinking into the bed,
And let the mind unwind just a little more.
Your mind is a brilliant tool,
But it can soften,
It can surrender to peace.
Let it drift,
Let it unravel,
Let it slowly dissolve,
No stories,
No pressure,
Just you.
Here with your breath,
In the stillness,
Let the mind unwind,
Let the thoughts fade into distant echoes,
And let yourself sleep.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
