Welcome to your Reiki self-guided session.
Begin by taking a deep,
Grounding breath in.
Gently bring your hands into gassho,
Or a position at heart center,
And ask that Reiki begin flowing divinely through you now,
Setting the intention that this healing session will be for your highest good.
Taking another deep,
Cleansing breath in,
And we'll begin with position one.
Gently placing your hands over your eyes with the Reiki palm,
Fingers at the top of forehead,
And hands touching.
Position three is placing your hands on the back of your head with the base of the palms at the base of the skull.
Gently resting your head,
And allowing the Reiki to flow.
Moving on to position four,
Which is one hand over your throat,
And one hand over your head.
Position five,
Placing both hands over your shoulder,
Close to the neck,
With fingertips going down your back.
As we move on to the midsection for position six,
Placing hands with fingers touching over the upper stomach,
Just below the ribcage,
Or solar plexus area,
Bringing in confidence and empowerment.
As we move on to position seven,
Down,
Placing your hands over the middle stomach,
With fingers touching at the navel,
Or sacral,
Creativity,
Sensuality,
And inspiration.
And now gently moving your hands down to the lower stomach for position eight,
The base of the hands near or on the hip bones,
And your fingertips over your pubic bone,
Calling in on the root chakra of grounding,
Stability,
And safety.
And gently moving your hands to the back for position nine,
Placing your hands on the middle back,
With fingers touching.
Now placing your hands on the lower back,
With the fingertips over your sacrum for position ten.
Taking a deep and grounding breath in here,
And we'll move down to the feet,
Holding the left foot with both hands,
In a way that feels comfortable to you.
Now gently moving over and holding your right foot with both hands,
In a way that's comfortable to flow and to ground you.
And we'll end our session here today with the crossover position,
Holding your left foot with your right hand,
And your right foot with your left hand,
In a way that is comfortable.
This position balances the right and left sides of the nervous system.
And taking another grounding and cleansing breath in.
Ending with your hands together at heart center,
Bringing in gratitude and love for the healing that has taken place here today.
