Hello and welcome to this mini guided body scan.
Begin by getting yourself in a comfortable position.
Bring your gaze in gently closing your eyes.
Bringing your awareness and attention to your breath.
Bringing a deep inhale in through the nose and exhaling releasing out the mouth.
Taking another deep breath in through the nose.
An open mouth exhale.
Relax.
Bringing your attention and your awareness now to the very top of your head.
And gently relaxing the top of your head.
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes.
Relaxing even your ears,
Your nose.
Relaxing and releasing your jaw.
Maybe your tongue even falls from the roof of your mouth.
Relaxing you even more.
As you relax your neck and your shoulders,
Feeling them drop away from your ears.
As this relaxation flows down through your chest,
Feeling so relaxed now.
Feeling this relaxation flow down each of your arms.
Relaxing your elbows,
Your wrists and each and every fingertip.
As this relaxation travels down through your torso,
Relaxing your belly.
Down through your hips.
Relaxing the front and back of your thighs.
Breathing in peace and calm and relaxation on each inhale.
As you release whatever is no longer serving you on each exhale.
Continuing this wave of relaxation down your knees,
Through your shins and calves.
Down through your ankles.
Down into your feet,
Relaxing each and every toe.
Your entire body is now completely relaxed.
Relaxing your mind.
Any thoughts that come in,
Allow them to gently float away.
Bringing a sense of inner stillness to your mind,
Body and soul.
Allowing your body to be completely at ease.
As you gently bring your attention and your awareness back to your surroundings and back into your body.
Taking a deep breath in and gently bringing whatever movement feels right to you right now.
Whether it's wiggling your fingers and toes,
Stretching your arms overhead and thanking yourself for taking this moment of stillness for you.
