Good morning,
Friend.
So honored to spend this time with you,
Connecting with nature to start your day.
It's such a beautiful self-care practice.
If you are able,
I encourage you to either walk outside during this meditation,
Stand outside,
Stand near a window,
Position yourself somewhere where you can be connecting with nature,
If at all possible.
And just to start our day with a couple of deep breaths to remind the nervous system that we are safe to be present.
So that's longer exhales than inhales,
But you can follow my lead,
Exhaling everything now.
And inhale and exhale.
Beautiful,
Inhale and exhale.
One more deep breath in and exhale it all out.
Beautiful,
Keep breathing at your own pace and rhythm.
We're just gonna take the next few minutes to connect to the nature elements to start your day.
Tuning into the ground beneath you,
That beautiful earth energy,
Sky above you.
What does it look like today?
Continuing to take nourishing breaths,
Tune into the air around you.
What are the sounds that it's bringing to you?
Beautiful,
What temperature is the air?
And then connecting with the sun above you.
Even if it's behind clouds,
The sun is still shining.
How beautiful if you can actually feel it on your skin.
Knowing that the sun is sending you beautiful,
Glowing,
Vital energy.
And connecting to water.
If you can't see or hear water at the moment,
Connecting to it being deep under the earth.
If you're able to give your body some nourishing,
Just pure water this morning,
What a beautiful way to start your day.
It's the ground beneath us,
The water beneath us and inside of us,
The air around us,
And the sun representing that fire energy above us.
All of these elements are here to help you be more of you.
