Hello and welcome.

My name is Katharina Kleiss and I will take you to a little beach retreat and meditation today.

If you want,

Find a comfortable seat or a lying position,

Maybe in Shavasana or with legs bent and knees resting towards each other.

If you want,

You can close your eyes or soften your gaze so you find a comfortable and welcoming position for yourself.

If it's seated,

It's totally fine.

Just find something which suits for you today.

I would like to invite you to a little walk onto a beach.

It doesn't have to be a beach where you've been to,

Maybe just a new wonderful beach which you can create now in your imagination.

Maybe you can already feel the sand under your soles of the feet,

Between your toes.

Maybe the sand is white,

Yellow,

Grey or black,

Whatever suits you today.

Maybe the sand is super soft,

Like powder that you can almost don't feel each little particle or maybe it is a little bit more like tiny stones massaging the soles of your feet.

It might be different from one day to another.

Just go with what you would like to experience right now.

So walking down onto your beach,

The sand warm and soft under your feet.

Maybe you will take already a look around,

See some trees,

Maybe palm trees,

Hedges,

Maybe even fruit trees.

Are you alone on the beach or are there little animals around,

Birds or even people?

By walking further you can see the water by now.

It's very calm and soft.

Small waves,

Tiny tiny are coming to the shore.

The sun shines on the sea and lets the water sparkle.

Maybe it's crystal clear and you can already see the fishes underneath swimming around.

Maybe it's turquoise or blue and maybe it gets darker the further you look out.

If you walk down your beach a little bit further you may find a seat.

Maybe you would like to sit in the sand on a towel or just like that or if you prefer a chair or a bench just find a seat where you can enjoy the view and the atmosphere at the beach.

Enjoy the water,

Enjoy the sun shining on your skin,

Warm and soft.

Maybe you can put your feet into the water just slightly so the waves go around your feet,

Toes,

Maybe until up to your ankle,

Refreshing but not too cold,

Welcoming you.

Maybe you would like to look to the right side,

To the right side of the beach.

You can see a family of turtles over there.

Little sea turtles just hatched out of their eggs and even though in reality they usually have to walk or run towards the water by themselves,

Imagine the mom is there to accompany them today.

She's waiting patiently until even the last one of this tiny cute sea turtles are hatched and then they begin their journey and walk towards the water.

You see her walking slowly and the little ones trying to keep up with their little fins and feet and one by one is gliding into the water,

Into the sea and the water is so crystal clear that you can see each one of them continuing their journey further into the ocean and the sea.

They're still quite close to the shore and now experiencing their first floating and swimming and diving experience.

Try to see what kind of feeling this brings up for you,

Without judgment,

Just realizing if you feel happiness,

If you are feeling amazed by the beauty of mother nature and that you are able to experience that today.

They were not bordered by you,

You're part of nature,

You're part of their environment.

As they continue their further journey until you cannot see them anymore from the beach and from the point where you are sitting,

Maybe you can look around,

See the corals under the water which they just passed,

Little tiny colorful fishes just from your safe and warm spot at the beach.

If you want I invite you to look to the left hand side,

Maybe a little bit further you can see people enjoying the beach as well.

Maybe people are eating fruits or drinking fruit juices.

You can smell the sweetness of the fruits and vegetables.

Let your gaze go around again over the beach and over the sea,

The beautiful water,

The beautiful weather,

Calm and welcoming,

Warm and soothing and collect all those feelings you are feeling right now which are hopefully making you feel protected and guided,

Hugged and soothed and try to bring them back into your presence like a journey you can hold as a gift within you.

Coming back by wiggling your fingertips and toes,

Maybe moving your wrists and ankles gently.

If you were lying on your back,

Maybe stretch yourself out and make yourself really nice and long and then afterwards hug your knees towards your tummy,

Maybe make a little ball to help your lower spine after this long period of lying to encounter and soothe those muscles in the lower back and if you're ready you can come to the right hand side,

Maybe even taking a moment here,

Whatever you feel like.

If you were lying in constructive rest with the knees bent and resting towards each other,

Find a way up into a seated position,

Your eyes can stay closed,

Your gaze can stay soft.

Just think one more time about your beach meditation,

Your little retreat,

Your little journey you just took and whatever resonated most with you,

Hold that deeply in your heart and in your soul and gather all this beautiful energy and the calmness you just gave your body as a present.

You can also bring your breath a little bit more into the presence by deepening it,

Maybe even a longer exhale.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

Namaste.
