Welcome.
This meditation is to help create space,
To clear mental clutter.
So begin by finding a comfortable position.
Let your body settle.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw release.
Let your hands rest.
And take a slow breath in.
And let it out.
Again,
Inhale.
And release.
There's nothing that you need to solve right now.
Nothing you need to hold together.
Nothing you need to figure out in this exact moment.
So for the next few minutes,
You are allowed to create space.
Space in your body.
Space in your mind.
Space between you and all the noise.
So place one hand over your heart.
And take a slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Gently say to yourself,
I am allowed to pause.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
I am allowed to make space.
Let the thoughts be there.
The list,
The reminders,
The conversations,
The things you forgot.
The things you are trying not to forget.
You don't have to push them away,
Just imagine each thought like a cloud moving through the sky.
You notice it.
You breathe.
You let it pass.
Nothing to chase.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to force.
Just breath.
Just space.
Now imagine your mind like a room.
Maybe it has felt crowded,
Full of noise,
Full of tabs left open.
Full of everyone's needs.
So with each breath out,
Imagine gently clearing the room.
Just one small thing at a time,
Not at once.
Exhale the pressure.
Exhale the rushing.
Exhale the mental clutter.
And exhale the invisible weight you have been carrying.
Breathe in space.
Breathe out noise.
Breathe in softness.
Breathe out pressure.
Breathe in here.
And breathe out what can wait.
Let there be a little more room behind your eyes.
A little more room in your chest.
A little more room around your heart.
A little more room between a thought and your response.
This does not mean that you are behind or that you are failing.
You are not meant to carry everything all at once.
You are a mother,
A woman,
A body,
A breath,
A soul.
And you are allowed to return to yourself.
Take another slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine a soft space opening around you.
A space where you do not have to perform.
A space where you do not have to be perfect.
A space where you can simply be.
Let that space hold you.
And let it remind you.
The noise may return.
The needs may return.
The day may keep moving.
But you can return too.
Again and again.
To your breath.
To your body.
Through the space within you.
And gently repeat to yourself.
I can pause.
I can breathe.
I can make space.
I can return to myself.
And take one final breath in.
And let it out slowly.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel your hand over your heart.
Feel the space that you've created,
Even if it's small or subtle.
It is enough.
And so are you.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and carry this space with you.
