Welcome to Aligned Yes,
Sacred No.
This meditation helps you hear your own inner yes and no without guilt,
Fear,
Or second guessing.
You'll practice choosing yourself in little moments,
Tuning into body sensations,
And feeling how good it is to honor your boundaries.
Let's begin by finding stillness,
Closing your eyes gently,
Letting your shoulders drop and begin to follow the rhythm of your breath.
Inhale a soft welcome into your body,
And exhale a slow release of everything you don't need to carry right now.
Let each breath bring you closer to your center.
Now,
Bring your attention inward.
Under the noise,
Under the pressure,
Under the shoulds and musts,
There are sensations within you,
And these sensations know your truth.
They whisper your boundaries before your mind can even catch up.
They speak in signals,
In gut feelings.
Let's listen for that voice together.
Imagine a moment in your life where you feel a tug to say yes,
When you really want to say no.
And notice where that conflict shows up in your body.
Where is the tightness,
Or heat,
Or numbness?
You don't need to fix it,
Just feel it.
Now,
Imagine giving yourself permission to say no.
Not from fear,
But from clarity,
From your belly.
Not because you owe anyone an explanation,
But because your inner knowing is reason enough.
You can even say it out loud,
No.
Say it as many times as you need to feel the relief in your body.
The exhale that comes when you choose yourself.
This is your wisdom.
This is your no.
Now,
Imagine a moment where something lights you up,
An invitation,
An idea,
A connection.
You feel a full-body yes,
Warmth,
Ease,
Alignment.
Where do you feel it?
Can you trust it,
Even without proof?
Can you say yes without apology?
This is your inner compass guiding you home.
This is your yes.
Guilt may try to sneak in,
And doubt may whisper,
But you are not wrong for listening to your truth.
You are not bad for having boundaries.
You are not selfish for choosing you.
You are safe to honor your truth,
Even when it's inconvenient,
Even when others don't understand.
You don't have to change their mind about you.
This is not rebellion.
This is self-respect.
Let yourself breathe and anchor this knowing.
Your knowing of what yes feels like.
And your knowing of what no feels like.
Get comfortable with this energy in your body,
Because it may speak before your mind can catch up.
Your mind may try to talk you out of your yes or your no,
But with each decision you make,
With each inhale,
You return to yourself,
And with each exhale,
You let go of stories that told you otherwise.
Placing one hand over your heart,
Say it out loud or silently in your mind,
Yes.
And feel your yes,
Your full body yes.
Imagine you using this yes in any scenario.
And now imagine yourself saying no.
A full body no.
Imagine you using this in any scenario of life.
You are free to pause.
To check in.
To choose again.
You're always free to listen to the voice within.
Feel it.
Trust it.
The magic of your pause will help you tune in to what your body is saying.
What your body is sensing.
What your body is feeling.
And what you are truly needing.
You can come back to this practice time and time again to feel more empowered and confident in your yes and your no.
To be held in a space where it is safe.
Let's close this practice with one final breath.
Inhaling the power of your body's wisdom.
And exhaling any guilt or fear or pressure to betray yourself yet again.
You can do this.
I believe in you.
And now you need to believe in you.
When you're ready,
Gently bring some movement back to your fingers and toes.
Maybe stretching the arms overhead as you bring yourself back into your body.
Open your eyes if they were closed.
And take this inner clarity with you into the rest of your day.
You've got this.
