As we explore mindfulness of thoughts, we are getting better at recognising that some thoughts are useless, others are repetitive. We learn to not associate ourselves with them. Thoughts are just thoughts – they come and go, and they don't have to Affect us. We protect ourselves from negative and anxious thoughts, we are more likely to choose to be present with what we are focusing on in the given moments. But first, we have to learn to notice them. There is no need in resisting them.
