Yoga is life. Karlin has found that movement is the key to unravelling stress, whether through yoga flow, breath awareness, or guided dance. Karlin knows that real change for good begins with noticing how the body feels and responding with self-care. She teaches slower, strength-building yoga classes, holds Yoga Nidra Journeys and offers insight into moving gracefully through menopause and mid-life changes for all genders. Karlin knows that movement has to be combined with somatic awareness, awareness of the feelings and sensations, to support balance, clarity, and connection. Her approach is inclusive, body-aware, and shaped by lived experience and personal practice. Nature is her guru, and daily rituals of mantra chanting and meditation help Karlin navigate a busy city teaching schedule. These elemental rituals reconnect body, mind and soul. Insight Timer provides a platform for her desire to get everyone into the practice of Yoga Nidra and spread it to the world; it is such a powerful practice. Based in Wellington, Karlin teaches Power Vinyasa, Yin and Yoga Nidra and offers bi-monthly Yoga Nidra Journeys; nourishing sessions designed to support nervous system rebalance, emotional release, creative insight and deep rest.
