I'm Karen Voss,
And I'd like to welcome you to a time of focusing on the link between language,
Thoughts,
And behaviors.
This is an affirmation weight loss meditation for transforming the connection between weight,
Thoughts,
And habits.
You may well understand the connection of self-esteem and weight.
Our bodies hold on to weight when they feel stress.
Stress also connects to self-esteem,
Self-acceptance,
And happiness.
Perhaps you are eating healthy,
Exercising,
But the weight isn't moving.
That's because you need to develop your happiness,
Your self-love,
And your self-acceptance first.
It seems so backwards,
Doesn't it?
The unconscious mind is powerful.
The patterns established in the unconscious mind are strong.
Patterns that now are not helpful.
An example could be the candy given when you were hurt as a child,
Now forms a connection to candy or sweets and happiness.
Affirmations gently work away on the subconscious and change the way it views happiness and self-love.
When you transform these paths,
Your body releases the weight.
This isn't something that happens in one meditation.
After all,
The patterns were created over years.
But if done consistently,
Over time,
You'll notice your thinking changing and your body releasing the weight with ease.
Love yourself first.
Take a deep breath in.
And let it go.
Again,
Breathing in deeply,
Filling your wondrous vessel,
The body you love and cherish.
And now releasing,
Pushing out the air,
Cleansing your system,
Preparing the space for transformation.
As you hear the affirmations,
Keep breathing deeply.
You may repeat them aloud in your mind,
Or just breathe and listen.
Do what is right for you.
I know it is possible to love myself fully as I am right now.
