Hello,

This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation.

And in today's meditation,

We're going to have a journey of compassion,

Of self-compassion for us and for others.

And what is compassion?

Is rooting for suffering to end.

And to be able to expand that compassion to others,

We need to start with self-compassion.

We need to start with us.

Let's begin by settling in.

Gently closing over our eyes.

And a deep breath in through your nose.

And let it go.

Let's do that one more time.

Deep breath in through your nose.

And release it.

Now breathe normally in and out.

Bringing some awareness to our body.

What are we feeling right now?

Are there any constrictions?

Any blockages?

Physical or mental?

If there are,

Go to that spot right now and breathe into it.

Release.

What no longer serves you today,

Just let it go.

We're leaning in towards relaxation,

Towards comfort.

Letting go of all tension.

Letting it melt away.

And just be.

Be with your body.

Be with yourself.

Witnessing and allowing and accepting yourself as a whole.

Now let's open our heart to a dialogue with the universe.

And let's ask,

Where in my life can I have more compassion?

Where in my life can I be more compassionate?

Show more compassion.

Expand more compassion.

And remember,

This compassion has to start with you.

Take a moment.

Allow those answers to bubble up.

And now let's take it a little bit deeper by asking,

What is your heart truly long for?

What is your heart truly long for?

What does it need?

What does it want?

What is your heart truly long for today?

Allow those answers to come from your heart center,

Your Anahata.

And now we're going to use a sacred,

Powerful healing mantra that inspires compassion to your heart.

The mantra is Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om is the universal hymn of the universe.

Tare.

Liberation from all suffering.

Tu Tare.

Liberation from the eight spiritual fears of ignorance,

Pride,

Anger,

Jealousy,

Doubt,

Wrong thinking,

Desire,

And attachments.

Tare.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha This mantra comes from the green Tara,

She is the God of compassion.

And all you have to do is listen to my voice as I chant the mantra.

And as I chant Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha,

This compassion will expand to your heart,

Your body,

Your soul,

And your spirit.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Allow Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha to invoke compassion in your heart.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

This is your time of self-compassion,

Of self-care,

Of self-love.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha.

Now let's sit in stillness and silence for just a few moments.

And as you move throughout your day.

Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha is vibrating through your body,

Through your mind,

Through your heart and through your spirit.

And as this invocation of compassion is awakened,

You can now expand it even deeper to everyone that surrounds you.

Seal this meditation by chanting Om together,

Taking a deep breath in.

And let's put your hands together to your heart center and say Namaste.

I honor the divine light in you that is also in me.

And when you're in that space and I'm in that space,

We are one.

Namaste.

This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation,

Sending you love and light.
