A short grounding meditation to manage stress and anxiety. Connect with Mother Earth (Gaia) to release the trauma and burdens you are carrying. Feel her nurturing presence dissolve your worries to help you feel relaxed and supported, so that you are ready to move forward.

Transcript

Today we are going to do a quick grounding meditation so that you can calm yourself regardless of whatever is going on in your life.

So let's get started.

When you are ready just close your eyes and you can sit,

You can lie down,

Whatever feels comfortable.

Just get warm and cozy and be really relaxed and start by taking a deep breath.

Focus on the exhale.

So when you breathe and then when you exhale try making a nice sound when you exhale if you can.

And as you are exhaling you're letting a lot of the stress and the anxiety come out from your space.

Continue taking your deep breaths.

This allows you to get into your body and you start feeling your body a lot more as well.

And notice how you are surrounded by earth.

Even if you are sitting in your apartment the earth is supporting you.

So say hello to her.

She is the divine mother and she wants to connect with you.

She holds endless love for you and she is waiting for you to say hello.

So just imagine Gaia and say hello to her.

So just imagine Gaia and say hello to her.

You are her child and she welcomes you with open arms.

So just imagine that she's got these open arms that are wrapped around you.

Just like a mother holds her child she is holding you right down from your waist.

She's got you.

She's holding you.

And as you sit in her arms notice that there is tension and anxiety that just starts flowing away from your space.

Just because you are in your mother's arms right now.

Just observe the colors that are going away.

Maybe there's some dark black,

There's some dark maroon,

There's some brown colors that are flowing away from your body.

And going all the way into the center of the earth with this divine connection.

Just let them flow and enjoy the comfort of being in your mom's arms.

You can speak with her.

You can tell her about some of the problems that you are facing and she is very eager to take them away from you.

So if you allow you can just release everything that's not serving you with your breath.

Keep breathing.

Gaia has got you.

Gaia wants to support you.

And keep releasing.

Notice as you release and you let go,

Notice how all of this energy becomes purified.

Notice how all of this energy becomes purified and it starts traveling up into you back as purified energy.

So notice how you are releasing stuff that is not serving you.

Maybe you are releasing some big stones,

Some small stones,

Some sand,

Some dirty water.

All of that's okay.

And what is now traveling up your feet from the earth is purified energy.

It's sparkling.

It's got gold glow to it.

Just enjoy that and let that come back into you.

Now up above you,

You have the gold sun shining on you.

Just like the earth has its sun,

This is your sun specially for you.

It can be as big,

As small as you want.

It can be as hot as you want.

Just imagine your gold sun directly above for you,

Just about four or five inches away from the top of your head.

And notice how this is also showering you with beautiful golden light,

Pure golden rays like honey or like gold shower.

And this gold shower starts going everywhere in your space.

It goes in your hair,

Making them really gold,

Goes in your eyes,

Making them gold,

Goes on your face,

Your veins,

Your shoulders,

Your bones,

Your veins,

Your skin.

Everything starts becoming golden,

Filled with this purified golden light.

So the earth is taking away stuff that doesn't belong to you,

That's causing you pain.

And the sun is filling you with purified gold energy.

Just breathe and enjoy this beautiful space.

Enjoy your sanctuary.

And now you know how to calm yourself whenever you feel a little ungrounded.

The earth and the sun,

They're always there to support you.

So whenever you want,

You can tap into this meditation again and feel calm and grounded.
